Bhuj Airport is located in Bhuj and is the only airport in the Kutch District. The airport handles domestic air traffic, with most flights connecting it to Mumbai and Ahmedabad. Its IATA code is BHJ. The airport has a single asphalt runway with one terminal handling all traffic. The airport terminal building can handle around 300 passengers at a time.

The airport is located around 3 km from the city centre. It shares its runway with the Bhuj Rudra Mata Air Force Base. It has one security counter, four check-in counters, two boarding gates, and one X-ray baggage scanner. The airport provides many facilities for passengers’ convenience. Assistance for the elderly and physically disabled, wheelchairs, ATMs, food kiosks, a lost and found baggage counter, etc., are available. About Bhuj

Bhuj is a tourist town in the Kutch district of Gujarat. The town lies at the foot of the Bhujia Hill, named after one of its earliest Naga chieftains. The hill houses the Bhuj Fort, which separates it from the village of Madhapur, one of the richest villages in Asia. Bhuj has an arid climate, characterised by warm winters, sweltering summers, and unpredictable but sparse rains.

Bhuj is known for its temples and its craftsmanship, especially bandhani or tie-dye, embroideries, and leather goods. The Bhuj Haat is the local trading area for all these fine specimens of craftsmanship. The cuisine, which includes pakwans such as chikki, sev khaman, dabeli (local veg burger made from mashed potatoes), and jalebi and fafda, is mouthwatering.

Aina Mahal

Built in the 18th century, this is housed in the Darbargadh Palace. The structure resembles the traditional Kutchi style and is adorned with glasses and mirrors of different shapes on walls, windows, ceilings, and pillars.
