The Nagpur Airport (IATA: NAG) is officially known as Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, named after Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, who was the chief architect of the Indian Constitution. It is an international airport connecting Nagpur to all the major Indian cities and some important international destinations. The airport is situated at Sonegaon, around 8 km away in the southwest direction of Nagpur city. Nagpur Airport is well-connected to all the tourist spots in the city, and it is convenient to travel to and from the airport by auto-rickshaws and cabs.
