It offers a serene and tranquil atmosphere, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Accommodation: The rooms at Akashdeep Homestay were clean and well-maintained. The bedding was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The homestay had a cozy and homely ambiance, making it a pleasant place to relax and unwind. Hospitality: The hosts at Akashdeep Homestay were friendly and welcoming. They were attentive to our needs and provided assistance whenever required. They also offered valuable suggestions regarding local attractions and activities in Coorg. Food: Akashdeep Homestay does not offer food or breakfast as part of their services, it's important for guests to make alternative arrangements for meals. This could involve exploring nearby restaurants or cafes in the area for dining options. It's recommended to inquire with the homestay beforehand regarding nearby food options or any recommendations they may have for dining in the vicinity Facilities: The homestay provided basic amenities such as hot water, Wi-Fi, and parking facilities. The Akashadeepa homestay in Madikeri, Coorg is a decent option for those looking for a place to stay that is close to the main tourist attractions. The homestay is located near the Madikeri toll gate bus stand and is within walking distance of popular destinations such as Raja's Seat and Nehru Mantap. The owner of the homestay was hospitable and made us feel welcome during our stay. We booked two rooms, which were okay in terms of size and cleanliness. The bathrooms were clean and had hot water, which was a plus. However, one downside was that they don't provide food, which meant we had to go out and find places to eat. The timings for the homestay are from 1 pm to 10 pm the next day, which can be a bit restrictive for some travelers. Additionally, the charge for two rooms was on the higher side, which may be a concern for budget-conscious travelers. One restaurant is located around 500 meters from the homestay, which was convenient for meals. However, getting transportation from the homestay was a bit difficult, and we had to walk to Raja's Seat to find an auto.

We spoke with owner at 28th Jan 1:00AM through phone and we had discussion of rooms and price and said we are checking at 28th 2:30 AM and checking out on 30th 5:00 AM . Over the phone all the discussion has been happened and paid advance . We arrived at destination at Jan 28th 3.00 AM. There we got keys by an old lady and paid balance amount . Initially she spoke softly and polite and confirmed with her same about check out.The fine next day we got a call from owner and he saying you have to pay one more day amount. As he saying your staying 3 Nights, but on the call I said 3 Nights and I have shared details in whats app for confirmation. The owner is saying I have confused about the dates. He called and spoke very rude and that old lady came to the room she saying I don't know anything. My husband said if there ready to pay for extra one night amount let them stay or else vaccant the room in the morning. I said that its your mistake for confusion ok but we will pay half amount and will stay, He is not listening to the words. He is stick to only two words pay extra amount or vaccant.The owner saying kindly vaccant the room or action will be taken like there warning the people.This was very cheap business trick. There trying to loot money from tourists in this way. Be aware like people in the tourists place.I have never seen like this people doing business. I suggest the tourists to avoid this for stay. We have plenty of homestays in Madikeri and Kushalnagar.

We stayed for 1 night and everything was good. The next day we were about to leave and before that we went to collect luggage kept outside. Since I had to travel all night I requested if I could use the room for just 5 MINUTES to change. The old lady in the house responded and asked me to change clothes outside in the varenda. How disgusting it is on the women's part to ask a girl to change clothes open outside where there is clear possibility for everyone on the road passing by could see. If she didn't want to let me use the room, she could have told or asked to pay extra for that. I know this is review not about the room but about people but such an attitude in a such lovely place was completely unexpected.
