A must visit. It's far from munnar but the location and the view is really serene. If you get a room with good views - nothing better than that. We stayed here for 4 nights and the management was kind enough to switch our room to a room with a scenic view. Had a wonderful experience!

Awesome!! A premium cottage experience in Munnar. It's just near to the Gap road with a mind-blowing views, and you will be relied from the traffic in Munnar town also. It's not like other rooms which you will get in Munnar at this price range. Here you will get a premium feel in every cases even if it's toiletries, food, room service, reception everything else. The room is very big, and got a mini refrigerator, oven, kettle, cutlery, a sofa-cum-bed, dining space, room heater, hair dryer, toiletries, dressing table etc.! Staff were really courteous and will be helping us from check-in till check-out. The check-in time is 2PM and check-out is at 10AM, not 12-12 as mentioned in some booking sites. Also Mount serene is an extension property of club Mahindra lakeside property where you will get a lakeside view in the latter, but a forest experience in former.

My recent stay at this resort was not pleasant. I couldn't help but notice several issues that need attention. The resort appeared quite dated, and some basic amenities were missing, which made the experience less enjoyable. Additionally, there was a noticeable odor that detracted from the overall ambiance. I wouldn't recommend this resort to anyone. Don't ever stay here.

Only book a room here if the main resort(Munnar Lake View) is fully booked. Wait, never mind, even in that case, go stay somewhere else instead. Problems: - Rooms are tiny and have no view!! (Why would you go to Munnar to stay in a tiny cage?) - All the facilities are in the main resort, so for almost everything you would have to go downhill. - The road between the main resort and this one is a big problem. You are not supposed to walk on it, due to wild animals in the area, it’s pretty steep and long, and it’s in a very bad shape. Only a fool will drive their own vehicle on it. So the only option you have is to take the resort’s shuttle, which can be really slow. - The only restaurant serves below average food, when compared to the one in the main resort. For the week we stayed here, we only had food in the Mount Serene’s restaurant twice. For the rest of the days we went down to the main resort, where the taste and the variety is much better.
