Very spacious rooms with adequate comfort. Limited Car Parking - two/three SUVs/Sedans may be conveniently parked. Easily accessible road from the main town area viz., Charring Cross. Recommended for families as well as small groups.

We had bful stay here for 2days. Warm hospitality by caretaker of this property made a difference. Room is decent. Cleaning and food wise really good. Opulent space inside for kids to play. Homestay has good vibes of family who owns it , with so many wall photos and defence memories all over.It totally worth your expenditure.

Enjoyed my stay here. The service provided was too good. Clean mattress, bed sheets, quilts, room and washroom. It's in a quiet place, which makes it even more better. Its good for family and is a kid friendly place. One can get milk for kids between 7am to 11pm. Breakfast is provided complimentary and one can order extra items as well. For lunch and dinner, place tour request atleast 3hours before. Thank you for hosting us!!

This place pushes you to write a review out of gratitude. I'm glad I came across this whilst making bookings for my stay in Ooty. The place will offer you comfortable stay comfy bed n blanket , wooden floors, hot water supply round the clock(which is a must in ooty's cold)and the rooms have wooden flooring to keep you warm. The property has a very well maintained garden in the front yard with great variety of flora(plants), the rich flora in the front yard is not less than the Botanical Garden which is just at a stones throw from the property. From the terrace of this property you will witness some scenic view of Ooty. The property is best in terms of accessibility- it's at the right distance from the main market thus keeping you close to the general need store and food joints. You may although not want to go to any food joint as the chef does a great job, I'm going to remember the yumm and hygenic food made by Gopal always (taste, hygiene, quality all on point in terms of food, a must try) . Senaji and Zeen (I'm not sure if I got the spelling right) were great at all that they do to make you stay comfortable. Also Senaji was really prompt and very helpful. The complimentary breakfast deserves a special mention as it was a obviously yummy and also served in generous portion and not some stingy tiny predecided portion. I do not write reviews but this place deserves, also I hope it helps people choose the best in ooty. Colonel's inn is the best in Ooty!
