The resort is beautiful. This is the best resort in Havelock. Perfect place for rest and relaxation. Hospitality is super amazing. Starting from a warm welcome, beautiful spacious rooms with large washroom and balcony and the view from balcony is just wonderful. You will actually get the feeling of living in nature. Had a lovely food experience too from breakfast to dinner we had all our meal during our stay at their restaurant. The food is yummy and the presentation of each dish is a visual delight and service is very quick. Impressive selection of wines and spirits at their bar on first floor. highly recommended.

Excellent Customer Services! We really enjoyed the food. Location and Ambience is truly worth money. Highly recommended to visit. Would like to mention Phila and Eva, their attitude reflects enjoyment at work. Frequently Cheerful and Smiling faces is all that delights customer.

The best thing I like about this hotel is amazing taste of the food. You must try their cuisine during dinner, especially do not miss dishes with Prawns. Location wise I would not say not so great, though one can walk down to Radha Nagar Beach (caution long walk!), else you will get A/C buses from gate to the beach. Another good thing what we discovered one can walk to Elephant Beach as well thru a trek, worth exploring. Caution, it could be bit challenging for aged people. Customer service is quite good and staff is very helpful.

We had stayed 2 nights at De Foret. The rooms were quiet cozy and comfortable, we loved the rooms and surrounding as it gave us a feeling of being amidst the forest. But would prefer an optional white tube lights in the room for various purposes like dressing up etc. We had a very uneasy experience at the restaurant. Though we had booked for a buffet dinner, the 1st night we were served food at the table with a lot of delay .. we were at the restaurant by 8.40 pm and we finished dinner by 11 pm. A lot of delay in serving the food. Also the taste of the food was not really up to the mark. A kind suggestion to improve the quality of restaurant. Then about the pool, good thing was it had a kids pool too, where our kids had a fun time. But both the pools had a lot of chlorine content, that it spoiled our clothes. But otherwise the room was comfortable and cozy. Would recommend this hotel only if you are looking forward to a cozy cozy room space.

This place looks like high end luxury but beneath the surface it’s actually found lacking in a number of areas. Our room didn’t have hot water for several hours, and took 3/4 calls to finally fix it. The bar also played incredibly loud music disturbing all the guests in their rooms until quite late. The decking is falling apart in places, which was actually dangerous - my foot went through a board altogether at one point. It also needs more sun loungers at the pool. The food is a little overprice too - 400 rupees / £4 for two tiny Gulab Jaman pieces. The staff were attentive though, helping us arrange a taxi to the ferry and sorting beach towels. The scooter rental option is very helpful for getting around the island. Overall it was a fine stay but doesn’t quite live up to the price tag or photos.
