I was traveling with my 2years kid, so I was specific in choosing the resort. When I entered this property, I realized I made a good choice, by looking at the atmosphere with lot of big trees, wide and clean rooms, wide sea view from the room, private breach, kids play area, good restaurant inside the resort and the nice staff hospitality. Stayed 2 days in this resort, deluxe room. Very nice resort to stay along with family. It is very well maintained. Staff is friendly, supportive, and quickly responded for any request. I am really impressed the special care the staff has shown on my kid. I really love their hospitality. When I got to know that this is maintained by Government, I was really surprised. Breakfast is good, but I haven’t tried lunch or dinner. There are other restaurants at walkable distance from this resort. During my visit there was a G20 countries summit in Havelock, we realized some of the G20 delegates are also staying in this resort so there was good amount of security checks around the resort. But they made sure that won't cause any trouble to other guests. In fact, because of this we spent longer hours at the beach during nighttime without worrying anything about safety, we were fully guarded at the corners of the beach 😊

The property is great but not maintained at all. The room size is superb. The view is breathtaking. Private beach facing all the rooms. Nature at its best. Food was tasty. Only one issue there is no room service.

I didn't stay inside the resort so can not comment about the room and the ambiance. I was staying in a nearby resort and came twice in the restaurant..... Once for ice cream and next day for dinner. For a small single scoop of ice cream we were charged 200 rs. And that too taste was very bad. Next day we came for dinner and ordered paneer chilli and 4 plain chapati initially...... That we received after a long wait.... We further asked for two more chapati..... We kept waiting for more than 15 minutes for just two more chapati..... We asked two or three people including the person at the reception........ After repeated demand we finally received the chapati. But it was a very pathetic experience..... As part of government owned resort it was a awful experience . As it is a tourist place so we expected high price for food ..... But never had such a bad service experience in such an expensive resort...... The authority looking after the resort must take care that other tourist must not have such a bitter experience
