We enjoyed this hotel including the dinner and rooms. The 2 negatives for me were that I tried a burger for lunch and this was a million miles away from what I expect a burger to be as well as being very small and dry. The is a bar above the restaurant but it was always empty, it seems that people are encouraged to take drinks back to their rooms which doesn't promote a great social experience. It was a good location close to the centre of Thekkady.

Starting from the ease of accessibility from the town to the courteousness of the welcoming staff, I felt so much relaxed when I reached the hotel. The front lobby was impressive with its grandeur in wood decors, and the check-in was smooth. The whole hotel premise is constructed to blend in the topography of nature and the mountainous landscape. The rooms are clean, spacious, well maintained and amenities are on par with international standards. All the staff, be it the security, the front desk, restaurant staff, room boys, or the pool staff, are so helpful, courteous, and prompt. Restaurant was very good. We booked a honeymoon suite and it was nice and tidy.

No real issues or complaints. Took a little extra time to check-in, but the service was top notch and the breakfast + dinner buffet was immaculate. Rooms have a sort of throwback jungle safari vibe (I don't know how to explain it really), but ammentities are modern. Bathrooms are extremely up-to-date. Hotel staff are very accommodating and helpful. The power does seem to randomly go out here, but a generator starts it back up within seconds. Overall a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Highly recommended!
