Very clean premises, best hospitality and food! Good location for covering all points. Also nearby to the market. Very good amenities like badminton, swimming pool, table tennis and games for children. Definitely recommend for every age group coming to Matheran!! 😊

We are going there since 1985 and the service has been excellent, but it's only this time that were so many complaints. Their toaster, exhaust fan was not working, tap was leaking, we found black garden ants in our room etc. * Management did not bother to levy "time rules" to a big group of students who were screaming at the top of their voice all day and even at 1 in night. * Ruined our vacation. Staff is cooperative but sorry to say, recruitment of new manager has lead to downfall of the hotel.

Gujarat bhavan hotel is good place to visit. Great hospitality and tasty food and calm place. We have also done calligraphy activity over here which was very exciting and the person who was doing this was very talented and creative

Great Place to be with family! Beautiful property, Polite staff but Average service Great Place to be with family! Beautiful property, Polite staff but Average service I have been there for a night stay from 16th to 17th December 2023. This is a beautiful property and except swimming pool they have maintained it so well. The staff is polite and very helpful but overall service still needs lot of improvement. Considering facilities, I found they are bit over priced. 1. Check out time is at 9am. So weird. If you are with family and wants to get ready for 9am check out, you will have to get up early. What kind of holiday that is if it forces you to wake up early just meet check out timeline. If you are late, they will allow some time but will keep reminding you about it which is painful especially when you are with family. All the hotels around have checkout time from 11am onwards which is still human and feasible. 2. Food quality is very good but options are limited. Frankly the breakfast was the worse. They just kept bread, Idli and Medu Wada for the unlimited breakfast option. How many you are going to eat even if you are really hungry? Also do not dare to order anything outside their set menu. They will again have limited options, average quality and they will be super costly. Triple the price of regular restaurant. If you are a diabetic or alergic to some food, such 'fixed' menu hotel is not for you. 3. Swimming pool was not clean. Cleanliness should have been their first priority. There has to be a dedicated staff who will periodically check and keep it clean. At least check it once when you see somebody is using it. And I have been there when it was a tourist season. If that is the way it is during season, not sure how worse it would be in off season. But the property is good for family as they have kids area, open spaces and lot of swings and chairs kept around. Almost every room has a balcony or varhanda which makes it more unique. The bathroom is equipped with soap and shampoo dispensers and gyesers which is again good experience.
