Had reserved a room in online platform app as per reception suggestion On reaching the hotel , they just denied the booking saying we are not receiving booking from online platform even after showing booking id. We were asked to wait for 1 hour as the receptionist was asking multiple people about the booking. But even after an hour we did not get any confirmation. Very unethical way to treat guest . Very very disappointing.

Hello Everyone, Today, I want to share an extraordinary experience that unfolded without any prior plans. It's truly amazing how some of life's best moments happen unexpectedly. I was on a family trip to Goa during last week of May 2023, and we were traveling along the scenic NH-66 (Mumbai - Goa highway). As we reached our coffee break time, we decided to try out the restaurant at Hotel Golden Plateau, located approximately 9 kilometres from Panaji towards Mumbai. Upon entering the hotel, we were warmly welcomed by the reception staff who directed us to the restaurant. Little did I know that this unplanned visit would introduce us to an incredible individual, Mr. Girish Baria, the General Manager. As we engaged in conversation, Mr. Girish showed genuine interest and inquired about our accommodation arrangements. Since our trip was impromptu, we thought it would be wise to explore the option of staying at the hotel. To our delight, Mr. Girish offered us an unbeatable deal, and we decided to proceed with our stay. The moment we stepped into our room, we were captivated by its ambiance, cleanliness, and exceptional amenities. The room was spacious, well-ventilated, and beautifully lit, instantly making us feel at home. Later that evening, we had the pleasure of enjoying a delightful dinner, and I must extend my heartfelt gratitude to the restaurant staff for accommodating my son's specific food preferences. The following mornings (we had 2 such wonderful mornings), we were treated to a delicious and nutritious breakfast, a testament to the hotel's commitment to ensuring a memorable experience for its guests. However, what truly stood out during our stay was the remarkable level of service provided by each member of the hotel staff. I would like to express my deepest appreciation to Mr. Girish Baria for fostering and upholding a culture of customer-centricity. We thought of extending our stay at Goa and our natural choice was to prefer Hotel Golden Plateau. Special thanks to > Ms. Priya - Front Office Executive Ms. Prasannajeet - Restaurant Captain. Chef Mr.Ashok. Mr.Girish Baria - General Manager. Kudos to the entire team for their dedication and impeccable service. I am confident that I will revisit Hotel Golden Plateau in the future, as this experience has left an indelible impression on me. Rooms are excellent, service is good, hotel is there in ground floor so no need to go elsewhere. But the cons is location, it really confused us to reach here as there is one small road perpendicular to the main road ( which is almost invisible ) and the main road is a one way, so if u miss the location, then you should again travel round and the parking is very difficult if you have long cars as there is really small space to turn. Overall excellent place to stay but be carefull while parking

I have to say I was very happy to of been able to get a room here last minute. My wife and I previously booked a room at a different hotel that lied about availability. In a frantic panic, we looked quickly for another hotel to stay in last minute. We were very happy to find the golden plateau! The staff was very friendly, this was consistent throughout our whole stay. Here's a list of what we enjoyed and things we feel could use improvement. Areas of strength: - Fantastic staff, all very friendly and welcoming. Everyone seems genuinely happy to help. -The hotel restaurant had a wide range of foods, and everything that we tried was DELICIOUS! - The room was cleaned well every day from what I could tell. - The bathroom was SO GREAT! I haven't had a shower so amazing since leaving the United States. I was VERY happy about this. - The staff cleaned the common areas very well, every day. It ALWAYS smelled so good in the reception area. Excellent considering many hotels don't go so far as to keep everything clean. Areas of Improvement: - Although the sheets and towels seemed to be laundered. They almost always had stains/marks on them. Even with them being clean, this takes away from the experience. I would suggest maybe changing the color of the towels and bedding. I think offering white as a premium or even just in a honeymoon suite would be a better option. Instead, use a beige color which is less likely to show stains. - 3/5 nights there were EXTREMELY loud sounds that I can only imagine were construction. These sounds STARTED at around 2200 and continued on past 0300. This was very disappointing and I hope it isn't an ongoing issue for the hotel.
