We stayed in Manorama for 6 days in a 3 bed room and the quality of rooms was ok. Initially we got a 2 bed room inspite of reservations but this was sorted. However the rooms only have the old fashioned latches with locks attached to it and from the inside no bolts in some rooms. This could be improved. But the room service is done only in our presence owing to security reasons which was a plus. The staff were responsive when asked for linen, toiletries and mineral water. Expect a on par room with normal facilities and not a luxurious room. The pros of this hotel is the prime area in which it is located. Most of the key places are nearby and there is city centre mall if you want to go for a quick stroll. I am rating this hotel a 3.5.

Hotel is located at the center of the city. Good, old, clean hotel, clean bathrooms with friendly staff. One phone call is enough to book/block your room in the off-season time. They also have good collection of antique idol items in the hotel.

I reserved two rooms 2 month ago and saw the man writing our reservation down in the record book. He did not want to give me a proof and said “you can see that I noted your reservation”. When we went there and wanted to check in the staff said there is no reservation, which left us standing without a hotel in the night. Staff was very unfriendly both times.
