Hotel O 701171 OTH Kalyanpur Metro

I have booked this hotel because very few hotels are available nearby IIT kanpur. Mostly guests were from IIT kanpur. Room - They don’t maintain high standards of hygiene and cleaning. Bathroom was very dirty and basin turned yellowish. Old and used bedsheets were given and blankets were not washed since ages. A very unpleasant smell was there in room due to poor bedding. Services - They don’t have proper restaurant and bring food from nearby dhabas. Food quality are very unhealthy and pathetic. Lots of oil was dumped in dishes and no taste at all. They do daily cleaning of rooms and don’t have permanent cleaning staff. Cleaning staff was available only in morning for 1 or 2 hour if you missed that time then you have to wait till next day. Behavior of hotel staff was very rude and I had to go to reception multiple times for single item. Location and facilities- Located little away from main road and they don’t have dedicated safe car parking. I had to park my car on street side. Also they don’t take responsibility of car safety. One desi liquor shop is located at end of hotel gali so drunken people are always there. It is not safe to roam around alone in this area. There is not good hotels or restaurants in this area. I had to go to near IIT campus of good & hygienic food. Recommendations- Avoid this hotel and try to take hotel in main city. Public transportation is easily available from main city at all time. Staff was behaving like they are doing some favors on some and we are living on their mercy. Don’t try this hotel at all otherwise you will waste your money.
