There is a rustic feel to the hotel. It has beautiful green lawns. There was a lot of space in the room and it was clean. The washrooms always had hot water, which is very important during the winter. A heater was also provided in the room, which was a pleasant surprise. The complimentary breakfast spread was good. The staff were very helpful. As we had to leave early on checkout day, they packed breakfast for us, which was so kind. Parking is also available at the hotel for those traveling by car. The hotel is located very close to the city center. I would definitely stay here if I visit Jaipur again in the future, and I would recommend it to anyone who goes to Jaipur .

There was a lot of misinformation provided with us. Firstly we were told that beds will be provided as 6 seater bed and once we reached to the hotel we were provoded with a 12 seater bed and 6seater bed is being provided only to female. Next we got to know they charge a service fee for providing towel in the hotel which was also not communicated and next is the locker fee invase you want a lock to be utilised in the locker they will charge a amount for it. Without this information the hotel Poc was continuously following up for payment. They are scamsters and making fools so that you will pay the amount inorder to use those services. They were continuosly following up for payment and while we raised question about this service charges they strictly mentioned you have to pay. What kind of service is this. I will never recommend anyone to go to this hotel

Overall, great stay in Jaipur. Rooms were basic but clean and quiet. There is 24h reception with friendly staff and guards. They allowed us to check-in early, at no extra cost, and switched the breakfast from the last day to the first day. The location is close to the main attractions but in a slightly dodgy area - wouldn't recommend walking

Strong points: close to old city and bazars, far back off the main road so traffic noise is not an issue and it feels mainly peaceful and calm compared to the busy streets. Room was large and had a few antique pieces that give it some character. Linens were very clean and fresh. Staff was welcoming overall and helpful when specific requests were made. Copious breakfast buffet and lunch and dinner available if desired. Weak points: we were in room 108 on the ground floor and found it very noisy because two main walkways on either side of the room and close to the restaurant. People's voices resonate on the stone surfaces and furniture was being dragged about in the room above us. We also heard running water and other bathroom sounds coming from rooms either above or next to ours. I had to sleep with ear plugs. Request a room on the upper floors away from the front garden and it would probably be quieter. The calico curtains are quaint but do not do a good job of blocking the light and are also a smidge too narrow to feel that they completely cover the window and give you full privacy. Users of ride apps like Uber beware: there is a Jai Niwas Garden in Jaipur, a public park, quite far from the hotel. Make sure you just put Jai Niwas Hotel into the search to make sure you end up in the right place!
