Positives Hotel is at a prime location and has good ambiance. Breakfast buffet is very good. Improvement >Rooms were not clean , lot of dust. >The restaurant takes hours for room service orders. Though restaurant staff is welcoming and helpful. > Reception managers, no happiness or welcoming gesture. They only reply to questions asked and we're in mode to welcome you. Also had called before the stay to inquire but they didn't help much with information and we're in a hurry to drop the call. this section needs good improvement. First impression last impression

Rooms were clean and decent sized. Some rooms had centralized AC and some had split type. The location is a plus. Parking is available both in-front of the hotel (fits 7-8 cars) and a separate safe parking area very near to the property. Breakfast buffet was good although the spread was not very extensive. Like other customers have mentioned service experience is one major area that needs improvement. Although the existing staff are doing whatever they can I feel the hotel is severely understaffed. Also the staff didn't seem like they were motivated to provide a better service. Some cost-cutting definitely happening in hiring service staff. Room service orders took 45+ mins to get delivered even for basic items and had to be called and reminded. If you reach late for breakfast there were no one to clean the tables and refill the buffet counters. Apart from the service issues, i feel it was a decent property with good location, clean rooms and comfortable beds. There were no refrigerators in the rooms which could be added considering Kannur weather. You can order food from Swiggy - try the Lagon Chicken Biryani from MRA Restaurant and Bakery on Swiggy. Beaches - Must try the drive-in beach in Kannur. Next good one is the Chal beach - clean and lesser crowd.

Rooms and bathrooms are clean. Convenient location since it is near to railway station. The check-in check-out policy (24 hours) is extremely helpful for those who reach in odd times.

The Malabar Residency Kannur is one of a kind. It’s perfect location in the heart of Kannur city makes it easy to access . My recent stay here is memorable. It is comfort with care, an undisturbed stay I experienced. The behaviour and attitude of staff and security was warm, and cordial. I and my mother very much liked the hospitality of this place . The food we tasted was par excellent. Thanks for the good natured staff who took good care of us 🙏. We felt at home staying here.
