A bit expensive. But location and hospitality is amazing. The staff is really nice. Their restaurant also has good eating options and the food is really good. The breakfast buffet has a lot of good options. Overall we really liked staying here. I wish the view was a little better as it gets blocked by other nearby buildings. I would recommend trying for a room on the upper levels where the view might be better.

Hotel was well maintained and cleanliness was good. Check in was smooth and the front desk staff were courteous and helpful. All the staff are smiling and make you feel welcome. Room service was quick and whatever you ask for, is attended to in 5-10 mins. We booked a suite room and the room was spacious with all needed amenities. Room also had a big Jacuzzi that looked like it would be fun to get into but we didn't try it considering the huge amount of water it would need and that water is precious in a place like Shimla. There is 24 hours hot water supply. Air conditioning was good. The biggest plus point is the location - right at the end of Mall road. 5-10 mins of walk and you are at the centre of Mall road. Considering that other hotels on Mall road offer far less luxury, Marina hotel feels 5 star (though hotels on the plains offer more at the same price range) [the pricier rates are expected in a hilly tourist area]. Food was average. There was less occupancy while we were there and so instead of buffet, breakfast was served a la carte. Menu spread was limited (again, in comparison to hotels on the plains) and taste was hit or miss. Bakery items were good. The chef and restaurant staff were helpful and provided us with customized baby food whenever we asked and our toddler really loved them. Overall, a very pleasant and comfortable stay and would definitely recommend/ revisit.

Visited twice during 28th Nov 23 to 15th Dec 23 for work. Definitely recommend the hotel. Rated highly like a 5 on food, cleanliness, accessibility to Mall Road, service, in house chocolates from their patesseri and Mountain View from their rooms with balcony. Overall Rated 4 as breakfast spread could be worked upon, which Does not match up to the other services offered.
