1. Hotel and the rooms looks preeti older. 2. Also it feels like lodging boarding rooms. 3. No heating bed, during Cold (during Winter). 4. Food quality is not up to the mark.

Rooms aren't clean. Room was okayish but food wasn't. The only thing we liked in food was tea. Do not order coffee. Also location isn't good if you want to have good night sleep whole night either truckers horns were honking or spoilt brats were making nuisance in their luxurious vehicles

The Hotel New Karan Hotel is a quiet haven in the heart of old Florence. The hosts, Anna and Andrea made us welcome even before arriving by organising reservations for the Ufizzi and Academia for us, a must if you want to avoid standing in long queues. My wife and I booked for four nights at the end of September. I booked the suite and it was fabulous. The extra space was great. It was vey clean, open and filled with plenty of reading material; up to date guide books, art books, novels. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom spotless. The balcony with its view of the Arno River was just perfect to sit and have a wine as the sun set. The continental breakfasts were plentiful and each morning we were greeted with fresh coffee. The information on the Hotel Alessandra website is accurate; the hotel is only five minutes from the Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi. It is right is the heart of the action in Florence.When you are tired of the people crush you can go back to the hotel and enjoy a bit of quiet before setting out to see the next fabulous attraction. A great little hotel, with a very friendly and attentive staff. If the suite is available lash out, you won’t regret it.
