Extremely happy to stay here. We’ve checked out today. The service of the entire staff is worth praising. They are so helpful. Hospitality is superb. All the amenities are adequately supplied in the room. Food is very good. Complimentary breakfast available here with good options. Would like to recommend for a comfortable stay.

Positives: First of all, ask for Henry. He will help you out. Great guy. The restaurant crew is genuinely good. Enjoyed their friendly behaviour and the chef's singing. The food is freshly prepared so it may take time. But it won't harm your stomach. Food is tasty. The menu is comprehensive (vast). They will not say no to your request provided those items are available during the season. Location is in a quiet place. A comfortable distance from police bazar. Half an hour on legs. The restaurent is well lit. Glass walled. Quite spacious. Clean. It has a washroom which is very clean. The rooms on the same ground level as lobby may be good but we didnot stay there so don't know. Those rooms have usable windows. Parking is available. Lobby is beautiful. Has a washroom. Whole property is kept neat and clean, has plants both flowering and non flowering in abundance. Breakfast is complimentary and they serve freshly prepared food, again. Quantity of food is generous. The best things are its staff and restaurant and the chef (whole crew) There are shops nearby for soft drinks, "qua" and other items like biscuits, chips. Room service is prompt. Tea is abundant. They have the best ginger tea. Ask for it. You will have more than you expected. Both taste and quantity Reception will provide you contact for scooty, bikes et c. My personal opinion is to take scooty rather than bike if weather is nice. Otherwise book a four wheeler if you want to visit cherrapunji, leitlam, mawsynram etc. You may fall sick if you do not wear rain coats and warm clothes who you travel to those places on a two wheeler. Fog and rain. Better take four wheeler. Ditch the tension, pay a little more but enjoy the trips. Power back is available. However, it is advisable to have all your bathroom activities early in the morning because if there is a powercut in the morning then the back up may not be powerful enough to pump water to the tanks. And it may hamper your travelling plans. Negatives Intercom is only for receiving, guests cannot call the reception desk. The rooms down under are the worst. Room 202, 201 and 203 are cramped. No adequate ventilation in those rooms. Windows are sealed shut. Only ventilation is small slits over the windows. You may feel suffocated. Not ideal for those with breathing issues. Please book the higher level rooms if claustrophobic or breathing problems are there. No water absorbing mats in front of the washroom. So the whole floor gets wet and sticky after a visit to the washroom . Rooms have moisture and odour absorbing pellets which do not work since they are saturated. The furniture in the room is odd. Bed takes up 70 percent of the room. Tables should have been square topped to fit in the corners but they are round tops. There is no space to maneuver in the room for two people. I hope the owner takes notice of this review and atleast install ventilation fans on the walls on both the entrance wall and the wall opposite to it. Linen can be cleaner. Parking is there within the premises but very limited space. So tell them beforehand. R estaurent tabletop clothes need to be cleaned. It needs more openable windows. More fans or may be ac. Room 202 has no ac. Btw ac is not required even in peak summer. Room prices need to be lower for the window-less rooms. The low point is the lack of ventilation and congested nature of the rooms. Still, we made the best of our stay. This was possible due to the good staff and good restaurant of this place.
