You book a hotel room for 6k and arrive at the hotel only to get treated like homeless people looking for free shelter. This is as polite as I can put my experience at this shabby hotel. I booked the hotel on Agoda and they told me in my face that since Agoda takes commission, they can allot only the worst rooms in the ground floor and that too only one room was available for against our booking of 2 rooms. We had to adjust as it was a prepaid booking and we already wasted lot of time talking to the morons at the reception. Amenities like dental kits, combs were not provided even upon request. Their kettle and refrigerator could make you septic. Service has a 50% success rate. You have to ask multiple times for them to attend to your request. We were not even provided water even after requesting many times and later I myself went and collected water bottles on my own. Restaurant is a makeshift setup in the corridor, in front of rooms. There also the staff doesn't bother to serve you. Zero respect for customer privacy. They offered to show an already occupied room while customers were outside. I even saw staff randomly peeping and walking into rooms, including mine, with master keys. One of our rooms were alloted near reception and some staff always sat near the door. Location is their only pro, situated close to Gateway of India. Everything else are big red flags. Overall, our one night stay was a nightmare and a very humiliating experience.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Regent Hotel, and I couldn't have been more pleased with my experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service from the staff. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and tastefully decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The hotel's amenities, including the spa and restaurant, were top-notch. What truly stood out, though, was the friendly and attentive staff. They went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. Special thanks to [Staff Name] for their outstanding service.
