This is my second time here. The first time I visited in Apr 23, I stayed in orange lane room and the rooms, toiletries and comfort was impeccable during the first time. But this time that room type was not available so we (4 family )took the 4 pepper room, the room was not satisfied, the smell was not fresh, there were 2 broken hangers, small beds( informed to us while booking itself).. some dehumidifiers were damaged or not available. The highlight and the same thing maintained was the staff were very polite and courteous just like the last time I visited them.. all my complaints and requests were immediately attended to. Regarding food , the chef was again as courteous as before and checking on our group of 5 children and 8 adults, if everything was taken care of .. But I felt the grandeur of the breakfast spread and the quantity of all the items have reduced from the last time I visited probably cause of cost cutting, not sure though. The quality was very good. Still with all my above comments, this place is one of the best budget friendly and most nature friendly resort I have ever stayed. There might be a third time I visit this resort. Let's see.. hope to see it as I experienced the first time I visited.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is situated amidst dense tea plantation and looks serene also very peaceful... The staffs provide personal attention to our needs at every level made us happy at every point of time. The food was excellent, the chef ensured that our pallet needs were met. Would like to thank the entire Shambala team for making our stay very cozy and comfortable also very safe

Excellent landscaped property.Food was really good.Chefs are very friendly and caters for individual needs. Overall we had a pleasant stay. Will definitely visit this property again.

Overall the location is very beautiful. Positives: 1) Good for couples to spend time together without using technology 2) Breakfast is really good with different options and fresh fruits 3) Rooms are big and clean 4) The staff are well behaved and helpful Improvement points: 1) No play area for kids 2) Hot pool is really very small 3 ft and can only be used by kids till 6 yrs and they mentioned every room has to prebook before use but that was not the case and it was not temperature controlled 3) bonfire is very small and can be enjoyed by 4-5 people and was little congested 4) the bench outside 107 is used for laundry which is very disturbing when you are staying there 5) food is little over priced 6) Trek is only a 5 min walk which is given too much hype when you come to the resort
