As a corporate traveller, the stay was very comfortable. Service and response was prompt. Food is good but need to add more varieties improve the taste. The hospitality of support team from all functions was very good. Will look forward to visit again. Regards, Sayan Ghosh

The linens are a problem in this hotel. The premium room that I had booked at first had used linens in the bed. The staff had not changed the bed sheet, pillow covers or the comforter cover. But upon requesting a change they did it. On the last day we upgraded to a premium room with balcony. The bedsheet was clean but the comforter cover was used and dirty. As I only checked the comforter at bed time, the staff refused to do anything about it. They only gave a blanket from their reserve which didn’t bring much confidence. Linens are the basic thing that a hotel should provide properly as it is not possible to carry the same from home. Location of the hotel is great, it’s really a staircase away from MG marg. The ambience of the hotel and rooms are also great but the linens are a major issue which needs to be addressed by the management.

Rooms are not good, safety is big concern it looks like more of hostel. Mishandling of your vehicle is normal, scratches and dents will come in gift if you’re coming with your own car. No toiletries, toilet is in ver bad condition. Only good thing is you are near to MG road and rest is negative, I would not like to recommend anyone to stay here.

This is one of the best low cost hotels I have stayed in! It was a business trip, reached here at 8 PM which is like LATE at Sikkim, the smiling staff informed that the Buffet Dinner is on till 10 PM. This is rare, check-in was a jiffy and a wonderful view room was allotted. The Dinner was excellent (totally unexpected) and so was next days breakfast. The wifi was good and to top it all the Hotel has a an excellent Manager Mr.Sourav, he is a humble, smiling helpful human. Will always remember his behavior and attitude, he is an asset for any organization for sure!

We planned our 10th Wedding Anniversary at this hotel during our Vacation in Gangtok. The Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. All the basic amenities were well maintained with the staff being very polite and helpful to provide missing necessties quickly like a room heater and toiletries. The Candle light dinner arrangements stole the show for us with a beautifully decorated table in a private space. All the dishes were well presented while being very delecious. We also enjoyed the wine. The staff was very patient and professional. They not only helped us take care of little daughter but kept her occupied through Dinner. Kudos to Videshiya, Diki and the rest of the restaurant staff to make this this memorable. Overall the hotel has great ambience, exemplary staff and amazing Rooms for a family vacation. Summit Hotels has stayed loyal and Customer centric at Ttakshang.
