I had booked a room for 2 nights (3 people) paid around ₹13,000 for the same and the first thing that I hear from the staff as soon as I enter the room is that using the heater ( heat of the ac) is ₹500 extra. They were so adamant on this saying that their website and make my trip website says the same & on asking for the proof they switched on the heater. Apart from this the service was very poor. You get only 1 water bottle every day that too they never brought it by themselves. While I was checking out they were trying to bill me for all the bottles except for the 1 that was already present when we checked in. Again I had to argue on this so that I dont get ripped off. We stayed there during the Christmas days and it was soo damn cold in the room. The heater (for which they were trying to ask ₹500 each day) was of no use as the rooms were not properly insulated. Overall I feel its not worth staying here. Pay a bit extra and stay at a place with more reviews or in a known hotel brand.

This hotel is at 7 km distance from Mall road Shimla. Majority of the govt. offices are located alongside this hotel, on this road itself. Hence, location is good at this hotel. Rooms were neat and clean, all maintained. Interior is good. We stayed in the family suite which costed us ₹4000. There is lift inside this hotel, so no tension for going on upper floors. There were a few things which we didn't like. They didn't mention that AC charges are extra i.e. ₹500 per day, however, on insisting, they didn't charge extra to us. Their kitchen service starts at 8 am, so if you want to check out early, you'll not get even tea or coffee. Electric kettle provided in the room wasn't working.

The rooms are not worth the money- i paid 2800 per night for a 2600/- room and it was not worth it at either price. Better pay some more and book another decent 4 star hotel. Also, dont book in advance here- they will loot you. Didnt try the restaurant here but dont have any hopes as such. This is also far from mall road so you would have issues catching bus for this hotel past 8PM. Better avoid in my opinion.
