Location seems to be the only good aspect here. Rooms look clean at the outset but was infested with mosquitoes and I even had to kill a centipede at 1:30 am on returning from temple. Bathroom flooring is too smooth and extremely dangerous when wet. Tip toe is the only option to avoid broken bones! Overall, the stay was not a comfortable experience. I may return purely for the sake of location and limit spending time in the room.

I have stayed at the Vyshakh for the past few of my Guruvayoor visits. The quality of the hotel has decreased significantly over time. Positives: - Location : The hotel is conveniently located close to the temple and is only a couple of minutes walk to the main entrance. - Restaurant: The restaurant is probably the only saving grace for the hotel. They serve typical South Indian dishes and also have the Kerala meals for lunch. Negatives: - Rooms : Extremely congested with poor lighting. The ventilation is minimal and I felt suffocated - Maintenance : The rooms are poorly maintained. The bathrooms usually have some issues with the water(hot water is unavailable, water flow in the taps/faucets are so low) Overall, it seems that the hotel is only focused on squeezing maximum money out of the devotees by using the proximity of the hotel as an advantage. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who would be visiting the temple for the first time, as it would ruin your overall experience of the visit.

Zero cleanliness. The bedsheets and the comforters are not at all cleaned. Full of stains. The extra bed which was provided was extremely dirty.No space. Congested rooms and lifts. Front desk staffs have a very bad attitude mainly the ladies.Only plus point is it is very near to the temple.

Location is excellent. Room was neat. However, the towels were very old and it is time to replace. While opening /closing of the Main door, it was making loud noise like in a ghost house!!!! Low light at dressing table and wash basin is insufficient. Despite reporting multiple times, we were not getting any TV channels. While checking out, even the reception does not gave a proper explanation about this or a mere regret!!! Hence, I really felt that it is not worth to pay such an amount for this type room & service. I would say it is just an average stay.

One of my worst experience with a hotel stay. Hand stayed in many hotels around Guruvayur, but this was the worst. If you see any positive reviews dont trust them. I choosed this hotel due to the proximity of the hotel to temple and had two young kids, I was supposed to stay for two nights but had vacated the room after 1 night and stayed in my relatives place but Paid for the 2 nights for 4 rooms. These are the main issues: 1) Its heavily infested with mosquito, we don't know from where its coming, toilet or gaps in the window. The window had gaps sealed with Tape, couldnt even get a decent sealer. The toilet door had big gaps and the mosquito could come from there too. Cant get any decent sleep and kids had most of there face and hands covered in bite marks 2) Always urine smell in the toilet and spread to room from toilet 3) No minimum facility of electric kettle to make hot water, and cant get any hot water from room service. 4) Cramped room with bad lighting, full mirror in the room, very tight for couple with two kids. 5) water in shower and bucket coming in the same time, you can get wet when you try to fill bucket 6) Room floor is very sticky 7) Restaurant service very bad, lazy staff and order not send kitchen and when asked why delay, was told the service forget to inform the kitchen, got undercooked vada which we returned. Over no justification to the price paid and on informing the reception about these issues there is insulting look like who asked you to book it
