The Vivanta Hotel in Kolkata impressed me from the moment I stepped inside. The view was awesome, and the staff was incredibly attentive. The food was the highlight of the experience, especially the starters and desserts. They were bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. While the main course was good, it couldn't quite match the starters and desserts. Overall, it was a wonderful experience for both our corporate program and family dinner. I would highly recommend the Vivanta Hotel to anyone looking for a stylish and delicious experience in Kolkata.

It is always a pleasure to stay at a Taj Property and Vivanta EM Bypass did not let me down, though I visited this property for the first time.The quality of the room is awesome and the food is good. The hotel has a good car parking space.Excellent service by F&B staff at the lunch buffet. She was very pro active in helping us serve better . Really appreciate the positive smiling attitude. The place is perfect for all individuals, couples, families. Just go to the hotel without a second thought because I'm not sure what better can one expect at budget.

Awesome food in-room service. Great quality content and cooking. View is good from the upper floors. Courteous, trained but overworked probably burnt out staff. Good indoor air quality. Can add some indoor green plants.

From the start the receptionist was very sarcastic when I asked her very politely that I was trying to call the hotel before arrival to confirm my booking which I have done online but no one answered, to which she replied "isn't it obvious that if you have booked online then it's already confirmed and there is no need to talk over the phone". To which I have not further argued because I wanted to have a peaceful stay. After that when I reached my hotel room, the phone was not working. So I went back to the reception and asked another receptionist to repair the phone in my room. And when I came back to my room my room card was not working. Then I had to go back to the reception again to which they did correct the card from their computer. The hotel service is very bad. The repair guy came after 3 hours to repair the phone. The sofa has stains on them god knows what kind of stain.
