This is a review of studio 1. While the room had good wifi and communication about entry codes, the room itself was difficult, uncomfortable and a risky. Room was literally right on footpath opposite a carpark. Every car, garbage truck , conversation, footsteps were right inside the room. Thin curtains did not block light from cars exiting car park or in the street so you got lights too. Room has a suspended bed accessed by stairs/book case, narrow and difficult especially to get out of. Lowest bed goes still requires the stairs and in middle of the night difficult to reach light switch due to the bedframe and even difficult to charge devices from both sides of bed. If partner has to get up in night they have to climb over you and then navigate the awkward staircase. Does not work well in practice. Of the 4 apartment hotels in this area i stayed at this one was the most cramped and uncomfortable. Shower was barely warm in the morning and pressure terrible. Feels like a teenager's room at a friends house, a bit dusty because of all the stuff in there. Not for grown ups, although some hipsters may love it.

I adored this hotel. The staff was extremely accommodating, responded quickly with any of my questions, and you could tell they really wanted to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The room was ADORABLE, it could get a little stuffy if it was warm out but cools down well in the evenings. In a great and safe location close to a lot of popular sites and great restaurants shops and bars. We stayed our first day in Spain and our last day and we enjoyed it so much it almost felt like we were coming home on that last day. Next time I come to Madrid I will definitely be staying here again.

Excellent location, very nice / comfortable accommodations, great little extras like coffee, cold water and sugar included. Just around the corner from a grocery store, restaurants, attractions and the metro. Service and amenities = non existent Be sure to have the entry instructions prior to arrival or you be locked out! Air bnb style = no daily room cleaning/ linens change

A cool loft AirBnb, with a modern design. The bed on the upper platform can be adjusted up and down to make more space for the living room in the day (see my videos). Booked 3 nights for my parents and I. Convenient location in the city center, with a big supermarket right next to the accommodation. Overall, a decent experience, with the following exceptions: 1. Door lock was confusing, and we took some time to figure out how to use it 2. There was no air conditioning in the room, so it gets stuffy in summer. There was indeed a floor cooling system, however, it does not cool down the room effectively. 3. We could open the windows for ventilation, but as we stay on the ground floor, this act brought a lot of insects into the room. 4. There was some funny smell coming out from the kitchen sink 5. The shower room soap dispenser holder fell from the wall on our first night, so we had to put all soap and shampoo onto the floor.
