My first capsule hotel experience. I'm not sure what else to compare it to so I'll do my best Staff were great and spoke good English. They give you a bag for the night which has Pj's. Slippers. A towel. Wash cloths and a tooth brush and tooth paste which was great. There are good amenities with a large locker room. Communal Showers and toilets which were clean. The bed itself was bigger than I thought it would be but from what I could tell didn't have any fans or air-conditioning so it was hot whilst the light above me was turned on. My biggest issue was actually finding the place but that may just be a me issue. I haven't travelled before at all and have never been to an airport. Eventually i realized it was next to the parking lot and started following signs for parking lot and only then did I start to see the signs for the capsule hotel. Again. It is probably my issue but I chose to stay there for peace of mind after a late flight and I was stressed out. It also wasn't cheap. Almost 100AUD for the night. I wouldn't recommend if this is your first night in Japan however, it would be very convenient if you have an early flight home.

Everything at Nine Hours met my needs, as an individual looking for very last minute accommodations after a canceled flight was rescheduled to the next morning. The staff was very accommodating, helpful, and cheerful. All of the facilities (showers, sinks, toilets, capsules, lockers, etc.) and amenities (towels, sheets, pillows, slippers, etc.) were clean and comfortable. The only reason I did not provide five stars was that the capsules did not have charging outlets. I was also expecting the capsules to close up, however, instead of a door or "hatch" they only had a shade that could be pulled down. This meant that ambient noise was louder than I expected. While most people were very quiet and respectful, there was some chatting and snoring that could be annoying (they do offer earplugs). All in all, if I was in the same situation, I would definitely say at Nine Hours again.

The capsule hotel is great for an experience but definitely not for light sleepers at all as they are not sound proofed at all. You can hear the slightest sound people make in adjacent pods and people shuffling along the walkways and alarm going off without switching them off. It's great for people who have a long transit time at the airport. Basic amenities such as toothbrush, toothpaste, floor towel, small towel, bath towel, bedroom slipper, hair dryer and sleeping gown are provided. Expect no other amenities beside these. Bring along the adapter for charging your phone as the pod does not allow usb charging. Locker is big enough to accommodate one huge and two small baggage as well as one winter coat. Service is great as the counter allows us to store our baggages before check-in timing and friendly.

No frills, convenient stay at Nine Hours Narita airport capsule hotel. The service, facilities were simple and straight forward. The bag of necessity provided was sufficient which includes a pack of ear plugs. With good reason, ear plugs was provided as sound proofing is an issue when sleeping within the capsule as you can easily hear your neighbour snoring or the activity they are doing within their pods. Light sleeper will have trouble getting a well rested sleep here. Speaking with experience as a light sleeper here even with ear plugs on.

One of the best transit hotels in Narita! I flew in from Taiwan and my connecting flight was the next day in the afternoon. Rather than going away from the airport to find a hotel, this capsule hotel was all I needed! I made a reservation beforehand (got the last minute deal too) so the check-in process was nice and smooth. Upon arrival, they explained to me what I needed to know to stay for the night, then they gave me a kit bag with everything I need: towels, toiletries, slippers, and even pajamas! The showers are amazing, the lockers are big enough for 1 large luggage and 1 carry-on, and the bed was quite comfortable! So, the next time you are in Tokyo for a layover and don't know where to stay, check out this little gem! You won't be disappointed!
