We had a fantastic stay at 9hotel Sablon. The location was perfect for exploring the city and the pool and sauna were a treat to come back to after a day out in the cold weather. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We can't wait to come back. Recommend this hotel if you're looking for a cosy, boutique hotel for a weekend in Brussels!

Stayed here for 2 days, was looking forward to it because of the good looking pictures online. The service was mediocre. Staff was nice but not really helpful, because they are clearly understaffed. The rooms were very basic, but with a comfortable bed. The toilet and bathroom are separated, which is nice, but there is no sink in the toilet. The hotelpool and sauna are a nice addition. Would be better if there were towels there. The location of the hotel is good. Everything is close by. The worst thing about my stay here is the breakfast. Charging 23 euros per person is a crime. There is almost no food. When you look online they advertise it as if they have a lot to offer, which is not the case. There is barely any variation in warm or cold dishes. Also there are not enough mugs and glasses for everyone. Adding a few extra bottles of orange juice and water wouldn't hurt anyone. Fruit and oatmeal would also be a good addition. The hotel is okay but not worth the price you’re paying for it.

Three night work trip. Would not recommend this, and especially not the overprized breakfast in the noisy basement where you are being disturbed mid-call and chased for the room number you already provided on your own initiative when entering. Very poor English among staff. Actually skipped one of the breakfasts I paid for since it’s really bad. Noisy room, front desk staff makes a big deal of Expedia gold member free drink but it’s a hustle to use it and you repeatedly being asked about what beverage you chose. Cleaning staff is however nice and room was spacious. Will not stay here again.

Hotel is in a great location with museums and central station only a 5-10 minute walk away. Room was very clean and big enough but tired looking in certain areas, paint chipped off the bathroom door, curtains with marks on them. Other than that all in good order. Staff all lovely and very attentive to our needs especially Martina who greeted us on arrival and went through all the best places to go in the area and how to get there. Breakfast was excellent and had a good choice from meats, pastry and cereals along with lots of different drinks to choose from. We would return here again in the future as we loved Brussels but wouldn’t stay in the room next to the lift as it does get noisy at night time with guests coming and going.

The only thing good about this hotel is the location. The rooms are substandard and not at all upto mark for a 4 star and so is the breakfast when compared to other hotels. There was false alarm going on at 7 am in the morning which was annoying Also the people in reception are not very professional or polite. When asked for late check out charges they told 30euros without mentioning that it's a perhour charge and only reveiling it during the check-out. They claim that they try to reach me over phone and email but nothing worked, surprisingly all other calls and emails came through except theirs. Basically hospitality and professionalism below par.
