For a starter, any inconvenience you could face there couldn’t be because of the staff. The pals there are the best (Decent, helpful and pretty much resourceful). On the other hand, the room was super tiny; cozy couldn’t deny but the tinniest I’ve ever seen. So, if you’re looking for a good place to crash with area-wise fair price and kinda be able to reach most of the city in a reasonably easy fashion, it’s a good choice. We booked it and it was the cheapest in comparison to many other adjacent places( with limited tedious options). I recommend the first floor” ground in some cultures”, don’t go for any upper options with stairs. Again, I thank all the guys there and wish them all the best.

Let’s start with the positive points: The service was very good. The breakfast didn’t offer a great selection but it was good and had everything you need. The room was tiny. And I mean TINY. Like 2m x 5m already including the claustrophobic bathroom. The furniture was run down and outright shabby. The windows out to the street had all the acoustic isolation of a piece of parchment. The toilet was running after almost every flush and didn’t stop until I opened the water container and wiggled the swimmer a bit. That’s especially bad at night when you are trying to not really wake up. But you also couldn’t ignore it because the walls did not isolate much better than the window.

So my reviews are very fair and balanced. They are usually not based off of emotions but facts. The rooms are smaller than normal sized bedrooms. We had a full size bed, chair, and tall skinny cabinet in ours everything else was attached to the wall. If you have a problem with small cramped spaces this is not the hotel for you. The hotel staff are all very friendly and are on hand 24hours a day. I didn’t meet anyone who wasn’t polite. There is no lift in the hotel and there are a lot of stairs. If you want a lift or don’t like or can’t walk up a lot of stairs this is not the hotel for you. The wifi is spotty but that could be the fact that I’m from the US or the location itself or my phone or all 3. Here is my one complaint. I’m not sure if this is normal, but they did not change my sheets the entire time I was there. That bothered me a lot. I thought all hotels changed the sheets after each use. I know they weren’t changed because the top sheet had a hole in it and everyday I would come back and find that they just remade the bed not change the sheets. Also the bed was made up of a top sheet instead of a fitted sheet then the top sheet itself, and then a gold comforter which I could smell hadn’t been washed in a while. So I put it in the closet and pulled out a comforter that smelled clean but was made for a twin size bed not a full size bed. We did receive clean towels everyday though. Overall I wish they would update the rooms and that they would adopt better cleaning/ laundry practices. But other than that the stairs and smallness of space didn’t bother me. They got good points for quietness and closeness to the Paddington Station, as well as being friendly and offering a safe place to stay.
