Stayed in the hotel section of the place. Got given a family room for 6 people as a solo traveller. I wouldn't generally complain, but it wasn't the cleanest and it made me feel like I was staying in the hostel side, a double hotel room as booked would have been best But it's in a decent location and if you're just using it as a base, it's good. Also, staff are nice!

The hotel/hostel is okay for the price if it is only for sleeping! Since many teenagers and student classes are staying here, it is VERY loud. The accommodations are old fashioned but okay and the rooms are small

Stayed at Acama this end June till July and it was a very pleasant stay! The sheets were clean, towels are refilled everyday, and the toliet looks great too! The space for a twin room was spacious enough for my room mate & i (we stayed at room 011. Some of my friend’s twin room & toliet was smaller, figured that it probably wasn’t renovated yet). The staffs are extremely friendly, I’ve forgotten most of their names, but Valentin was one of them whom was very helpful with our needs and was patient to answer any questions we had! 2 things about the hostel though - the wifi is really weak and switches off here and there. Another thing would be that even though everyone is suppose to be quiet at 10pm, but it’s rarely quiet! It’s usually very noisy and loud, especially so because we stay at level 1 and the doors are very thin, we could hear the people outside.

The hotel met my expectations (which were not that high to begin with). The staff were nice and friendly. Our room was fine for a family of 5 (actually there was also a sixth bed). Since it is also a hostel there was some noise in the garden from young people talking loudly late in the evening. BTW the WiFi was a bit slow which was a bit of an issue for my kids. The location is convenient to explore the city and you can easily reach all main sights using the nearby metro lines.
