Snarky staff at check-in. Double bed was two single bed made together. Beds and pillows hard like camping beds. Cold room. Heating helped on the highest gear only which didn’t help the sleep on the hard beds. Pictures of the (walk in) shower did not match. We got a small tub. Room not well isolated. You could hear discussions (and other activities) from the neighboring room and above. You could also hear the waste going down in the canals when they flushed the toilet above. If guess, if you can stand the above and get a good rate, the location could potentially outweigh the negative as the location is good.

Pleasant lobby, attentive staff, and a nice central location with reasonably close access to public transportation. Avoided trying their 10€ breakfast after reading other reviews. The room was spacious (it was a corner room, not sure if it represents all rooms) with plenty of shelf space for setting luggage and other things. Included an old bookshelf stereo on a desk area (with a wooden chair) and a little wall-mounted TV. The bed was very firm and of mediocre quality, which seems to be common in Europe. Springs could be felt and heard. The room was clean-ish upon check-in and showed wear and tear. No power outlet was available on the right side of the bed. Lighting is dim in the bedroom area but bright in the bathroom area. Shower water pressure was very good with ample hot water. The one oddity that I didn't observe in other reviews was the lack of a door for the bathroom. There is a frosted glass panel that closes, but there is no frame, leaving a wide gap all the way around it. All sounds and smells (and light at night) are shared with anyone else in the room, affording no privacy. There is no exhaust fan. See images.

The hotel is in the city center in an excellent location. 350m from the metro and all interesting places are about one to two kilometers away. Peaceful and quiet environment in the hotel, excellent and helpful staff. The rooms and the hotel are clean. Swimming pool and wellness center for relaxation. The breakfast is excellent and varied. Recommendation

This hotel provides terrible customer experience. They charged me a cancellation fee even though I had cancelled 3 days before arrival and had a reservation type that allowed 24 h advance cancellation. This is mostly due to the incompetence of their staff. Pls don't book, if you need to cancel you'll end up with money taken from your card. There are many other perfect options around.
