This is a fantastic hostel - I’d highly recommend it. The location is great and the staff are lovely. Everyone is very personable and you are given a tag to write your name by your bed, which is a nice personal touch. The bathroom in my room was cleaned daily. The only negative I can think of is that there are no hairdryers but you are given free towels etc.

Good hostel, great location right next to the intercity bus stop and a supermarket, couple minutes to city centre and lake. Rooms are nice but the half curtains and no lockers in the room aren't great. The kitchen is good, they advertise activities for everyday but only the pub crawl seems to actually happen.

Sometimes it's the nice private beds, accessible storage lockers, or perhaps large kitchen and common room that steal the show, and while Q2 definitely had all those, it was instead the staff that made this a 5- star stay - specifically Adam and Hannah. Adam's ability to bring joy to us backpackers through his attentiveness but more importantly his inability to pronounce shark was unmatched, while Hannah's warm demeanor and willingness to go above and beyond no matter the biohazard facing her speaks volumes to her dedication. Can't think of two more deserving people of raises.

I stayed in an en-suite room for a week. I have been to many hostels, and I can definitely say that this hostel is the best. The staff are all so friendly, kind and lovely. The beds are comfortable and have privacy curtains. The bathroom was cleaned daily. And there is a different event every day. Staying in Queenstown for a week was too long for me, but I was able to get some satisfying memories with Adventure Q2 Hostel. Thank you to all the staff at Q2 Hostel.

Great location. Seconds away from everything. Lovely view from my room. I liked that they give you free towel and a second pillow. Extra blankets as it was feeezing. Rooms have a heater/ac unit. Beds were super comfortable also had a privacy curtain. The elevator was great, didn’t have to haul my heavy bag up the stairs. Friendly staff who were helpful. Would definitely recommend
