The service and friendliness of the staff has decreased drastically in the last year or so. Every call is greeted with a deep sigh that makes you feel immediately like you're a nuisance to the receptionist. On a good day they help you out, on a bad one they outright refuse service and tell you to call back the next day. It's a shame, because we like housing our international co-workers here whenever we have a company event and the hotel is the only decent one in walking distance to our office at Hermannplatz.

Thoroughly enjoyed my three week stay here. Clean apartment, convenient location (with lots of food and activities around). Laundry is convenient and great work set up.

You cannot believe that although we live here it is impossible to communicate. You can see how serious the shortage of labour is in Germany so a hotel like this had to hire anybody. First of all, nobody ever replied to our emails. I was able to call and as long as you speak German you can talk with somebody over the phone. Second and strangest thing is the communication WHIST we live here. We had been trying to book a bigger suite for a while. As we already live here we were trying to check out the bigger suites before we book a bigger suite. Last Friday we spoke with a lady at the reception who promised to show us a bigger suite, Charlie, Saturday evening. On Saturday evening around 5:30 when we were there, the lady at the reception said that she was not aware of any suites to be shown to us, she could show us two bigger suites Tuesday morning. 15 minutes ago I was at the reception speaking to the same lady, she said that both suites she mentioned before were now taken. I asked why new guests moved in before 15:00, she said that they moved in yesterday. I was even more confused, as if the guests moved in yesterday the suites would be available before 15:00 so why she did not show us yesterday? She said they were available from Saturday but not cleaned, she did not know how many days it would take for cleaners to clean them, so she asked us to come on Tuesday but then the rooms were taken yesterday on Monday. It showed how incompetetent the staff members are! She now asked me to go again on Thursday, this will be my 4th visit to reception which is not in the same building/front door. I will see how things go. The location is right beside Boddinstrasse, bear in mind it is extremely loud outside. Inside the room it is full of fancy technologies and naturally anything fancy has a limited life expectancy. As long as you understand there won't be anyway to reach anybody in charge this apartment shall be fine.

Recommendation: Don’t stay at Hotel Aeronaut in Berlin in the summer when the weather is warm! We stayed at hotel Aeronaut in Berlin in early July 2023. Room was very warm (28 degree’s Celsius) due to warm weather conditions and no airco or not working airco in the hotel. We notified staff but were told the warm room temperature problem was not room specific but a problem for pretty much all the rooms in the building: switching rooms was not an option to resolve our problem. We notified management via Email twice but have not received any response yet to date. It seems as if management is not interested!

Room cleaning service terrible! Made a note to the host saying I have allergies and if they could make sure the room was cleaned thoroughly. They didn't do so. Host stated room will be cleaned every second day, this was not done. The cleaning staff straightened sheets and folded duvets instead of changing them. Floor was not swept, counters not cleaned. After complaining 4 times with no luck I had to write a note for the cleaning staff with my requests and 4/6 were carried out. Very displeased with this which put a downer on my holiday Also washing machines didn't work so I had to run down the street to get clothes washed
