I had a terrible experience with this hotel. On arrival we got a room for people with disabilities (we did not request one) when we opened the door you could instantly smell the strong smell of the dirty toilet... Smell that hit you in the face. When I opened the toilet door i noticed poo marks on the sink and inside of the toilet. There were blood dots on the mirror too. I've requested the room change and the receptionist was really apologetic and allocated us to a different room. The new room was much better than the previous one but definitely not a 4 stars hotel standard. In the whole hotel there is a specific unpleasant smell. The floors were dirty. It was a hole in the curtains. Dirt writings on the windows and bathroom door. Bad stains on the lamps. Bedding is thin like a towel. We are supposed to have a double deluxe bedroom when in reality we had single beds put together and there moving apart during the night and two single duvets, one very thin pillow each. During the 4 days stay no one came to clean our room. We left the information on the door handle that room needs cleaning two days in the row with no success. We paid for breakfast but the choice was really really limited and the breakfast bar was shut every day so you were not able to order any food. I was expecting a nice continental breakfast with a selection of fruits vegetable cheese and I didn't receive that. I end up having a slice of bread with cheese and coffee every day.. I would definitely stay away from this hotel, unless you want your stay in Budapest to be ruined.

I stayed at AKEAH Verdi Hotel in Budapest. While the rooms were decent, the cleanliness of the bathroom left much to be desired. The limited availability of toilet paper was inconvenient, requiring me to fetch some from the reception. The breakfast lacked variety, and considering the price, I expected more.

This hotel falls short of expectations in various aspects. The ventilation system in the rooms is dreadful, causing discomfort, especially in the bathrooms. Balconies vary in availability, and some rooms lack the option to open windows. The breakfast quality is subpar, requiring guests to bring their own bread and utensils. Communication is challenging as the staff's language proficiency is limited, and there's an unwelcoming attitude if you don't speak their language. Reception is somewhat hospitable, but overall, the experience doesn't align with a purported four-star status. Booking through platforms like Booking.com might result in receiving less than what was paid for. Parking is a hit-or-miss situation, adding to the overall dissatisfaction. Overall, a disappointing experience for a supposedly four-star hotel.

The excellent proximity to the metro station led us to choose this location. What I can say is that it's not worth 4 stars, at most 3. The experience was not exactly a pleasant one, and I'll tell you why: there was a lot of noise because they allowed groups of students, and there were no signs to enforce quiet hours late at night. Two days after checking in, we put a sign on the door with the message that the room needed cleaning, as advised by the reception, but no one came to clean. At breakfast on the last morning, there was chaos due to a lack of staff. Fruits, juices, coffee cups, and bread were missing, and they were brought after a long wait. It's to be avoided for people looking for a quiet night.
