Hotel was very nice. It has a very good breakfast buffet with a large food selection. We didn’t have breakfast included but it’s worth it to buy it, during our stay it was 200 liras per person. Also the restaurant is on the top floor with terrace and has a great view. From the terrace you can watch the balloons in the morning. We booked a Deluxe room in the corner without a window. We knew about that when we were booking but well it was weird and it could be even a small window in the door with some kind of a shutter. However the room was very nice, big with a very big bed and comfortable mattress. There was everything that is needed, for example kettle and tea. It was clean. The bathroom was also clean but it could be renovated. There is unpleasant smell. Private sauna in the bathroom was the nice touch. Hotel stuff was very kind and friendly, not everyone speaks english, but they were founding ways to communicate and help us. Hotel has a very good location, just few minutes walk from the city center. Hotel doesn’t have a private parking but there wasn’t problem to park on the street in front of the hotel.

Pro: Location, big terrace, you could park the car in front of the hotel for free, big room - you could see the balloons from the terrace Con: - Avoid the minibar, no prices, for one can of cola they ask ~5Eur and you find out only at check-out, price is in Eur not TL as would be normal, and they are converting Eur>TL at a higher rate. - Minibar was not separately connected to electricity and when you were leaving the room, it shut down and the beverages were not cooling. - They have a lot of old food, fruits - some of them rotten for breakfast - a lot of dust, not much cleaning was done - cigar smell was coming through the bathroom vent, like there was someone smoking in your room. - staff seems like they do not know what they need to do in this hospitality segment, and it feels like they want to extort money from tourists with all costs. I noticed that in most of touristic places in Turkey is almost the same, tourists are seen as ATM's for business owners.

Very nice hotel run by very friendly & hostile ppl. Big size room has AC, an electric kettle, and a refrigerator. Decent breakfast. 5 min walk to main Goreme center. You can see balloons from the roof. Highly recommended
