Harman Cave Hotel

We had the best experience at this hotel on our trip to turkey, the staff went above and beyond in accommodation and providing us with options for what to see, restaurant recommendations and over all making our trip an ease. From what we heard from other tourists, their hotel did not help them out In any way at all, the front desk people at Harman cave really make you feel valued as a customer

I have mixed feelings about about this hotel, mostly good. My 3-night stay at Harman Cave has generally been good. The Good: The Staff - most of the staff I encountered were very friendly and welcoming. They’re very helpful and seems to take an interest in providing wonderful services to guests. From check in to check out I’ve experienced very professional and friendly services. The communications with the hotel prior to my arrival have been very responsive and they were able to have a car ready to pick us up at the airport for 55 euro. And even though we arrived at 10:30am, the receptionist gave us our room because it was ready The Room - we booked the fairy chimney room and it was amazing! It was totally inside a cave and the experience is truly worthy of the extra price. It has a balcony that overlooks the valley where balloons take off so it’s a great view. However, the balcony is quite small and someone about 5’10” can barely stand without hitting head. Otherwise, the room is great! AC works great and it was needed even though it was in the low 40s at night because the cave keeps the temperature warm at night The Location- the location is absolutely perfect for exploring Cappadocia. It’s situated very close to the balloon launching sites and is well within walking distance to the Open Air museums, the 3 major canyons (Red, Rose, and Love). Easily accessible to hike those canyons Needs Improvement: The two things that need improvement are the quality of the bed/pillow and breakfast. Breakfast is buffet style and is the same things daily. It contains lots of cheese options, some dried-up sausages, fries, boiled eggs, and flat bread with cheese. They offer to cook “omelette” but it’s really just very oily scrambled eggs, which we didn’t want after the first day. The breakfast definitely fell short of expectations but I guess that is why they are cheaper than others around them The bed is just a plain hard mattress. And the pillow is a very low quality pillow so I wasn’t Cale to sleep for more than 3 hours per night, tossing and turning all night long. I guess if you’re used to firm low-quality mattress, you probably won’t mind it but having slept on pillow top mattress for many years, sleeping in this bed was just not an option Because I couldn’t have a good night sleep and the mediocre breakfast, I deducted one star. Would I stay here again? If they have a more comfortable mattress and better breakfast options, I would, even if I have to pay more. But other than these issues, this hotel is great. Lastly, don’t even ask for late check out as their sign at the check in desk suggests
