Stayed here 2 nights. Good service, all stuff is very nice, loved the hospitality. We stayed in a deluxe room with garden view no private pool, it’s like a private villa with our own front door, super nice. And the garden view and bathroom are stylish, absolutely stunning! The pool in the resort is beautiful. Good location, 5 minutes walk to Main Street with lots of food bar and shops. Highly recommend!

It was great there are lots of gangs (Ali ways) to walk around on we went to alchemy ALLOT. The people were really nice except when we asked for room service and they stole our towels. There are lots of bugs but the villa was great. There was a mysterious rotten egg smell in the middle of the night which was weird but otherwise it was really fun. 10/10 location (yellow flower cafe is a must).

We chose Alam Wayang for our stay in Ubud as it really represents that jungle/rainforest vibe we were looking for. Although our room was rather small, the hotel is beautiful. The bed was comfortable but there was not a lot of space for two people's luggage. The outdoor bathroom is spacious and pretty but you always have to remember to close the door because of all the mosquitos and insects potentially entering the bedroom. Breakfast was 9/10 with great options to choose from and delicious food and drinks but some additional charges if you asked for anything extra. The staff was very helpful and exceptionally polite. There are motorbikes available at the hotel which we rented with no issues. The actual hotel is a bit further away from the checkpoint (5 minute walk) but the staff was kind to transfer us when needed (especially when carrying our luggage). All in all a great stay, which leaves you with a great feeling of what the area of Ubud is like and what to expect when you get there.

Brilliant stay. Lovely clean rooms and private pool. Attentive and helpful staff. Felt relaxed in calm and peaceful location. The only downside was the attitude of the receptionist Sri who was unhelpful and arrogant throughout our stay. Rushed our checkout unnecessarily and spoke in an unacceptable manner. This is completely in contrast to the other staff members- who were extremely kind and facilitative.

The worst facility ever in Ubud during my 2 weeks trip. Replaced towels were dirty as if they were used to wipe the floor, my used coffee cup was left uncleaned on the floor for 2 nights, shower runs very poorly with limited warm water (not even asking for hot water), and way too many dead insects on the floor the first night I checked in. More importantly, the manager was very disrespectful asking if I was “running out of money” when I made a request to get discount for such poor service, which in my personal opinion was a fair request (I asked for a discount of the difference of premium room and the basic room where I was staying, because that’s what they offered me when I made my claims).
