Alma Boutique Hotel was amazing as we had to find a place last minute that actually had air conditioning during the heat wave, and there was an actual human at the reception desk we could call and speak with who was extremely helpful and didn't just tell us to go on bookings.com (we tried this with another extremely popular hotel nearby, called and were told to just go on bookings.com even though we told them it wasn't working for us). The room was extremely spacious, had tons of storage space, a mini fridge, and was very clean and neat. The location is quiet but extremely centrally located and walkable to many different popular spots in the city. The breakfast included is amazing, the cook/staff is extremely competent and amazing at her job there - we can't thank her enough! She was very hospitable and friendly. All the staff we encountered at the hotel (all the concierges, the cleaning staff, kitchen staff) were very friendly and warm. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! We didn't use this, but check-out at 11 am is wonderful, and there is also space for you to leave your luggage as well as a washroom you can access even after you check-out, which is extremely helpful.

Hotel looks pretty simple from outside, but very comfy on the inside. Rooms are quite nice (got a "Sweet" on a top floor), relatively cheap and breakfast is great. Service is great too, very friendly and prompt. Location is very good - underground just behind a corner and old city is nearby.

Great location close to a major rail and tram network. My superior room was beautiful. Electric shutters were a nice touch. Would have given 5 stars but the WiFi was useless. Breakfast buffet was good.

We paid for the hotel, which is not cheap, expecting it to be 4 stars, but the hotel deserves only one two stars. Everything is dirty here!!! The linen on the bed was not changed, it was dirty!!! The toilet is dirty! The floor is dirty, dirty masks are lying on the floor. The smell is not pleasant. There are no slippers, no iron, no kettle, nothing in the room!!! In the photo in the booking, the hotel looked nice and spacious, but in reality it is a cheap hostel. And its owners deceive their visitors. No one wanted to answer us, they said that the manager was not there, that he would be there in a few days. This is a disgrace!!! How can a booking company allow such hotels to be placed on its website that deceive their visitors?! Corridors and walls of the hotel are literally collapsing and the paint is peeling. An old hotel in need of repair, its owners simply deceive guests, steal money and do not make contact, promise 4 stars, but instead a cheap hotel!!!! The girl at the reception was rude to us, she was not friendly, very bad hotel!!!! Eola at the reception asked what the name of the administrator was, she said that it was not our business and did not say her name! The sausage for breakfast was not fresh. Had a bad smell, products whose expiration date has long passed. I am a traveling journalist, I have seen a lot in my life, but this is the first time such a hotel, so I leave this review here, I hope it will be useful and you will not repeat my mistake, and choose a hotel that will meet your standards.
