I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. The service was top-notch, the staff went above and beyond to make my stay truly memorable. The location is perfect – centrally situated with easy access to key attractions and amenities. I chose the hotel for it's central location as I had a number of business meetings in Mayfair but it is also perfect for a leisure trip and I will most definitely return. The room was beautiful overlooking the front of the hotel with seating in the bay window, but the bathroom was stunning with double basin, double ended quartz top bath and double doors from the bedroom. What truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional service provided by the staff. Their attentiveness and genuine commitment to guest satisfaction were evident at every interaction. They anticipated my needs and went out of their way to ensure I had everything I required for a seamless and enjoyable stay. In summary, this hotel exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for a smaller more personable hotel with the perfect blend of excellent service, a prime location, and a luxurious room. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning for another exceptional experience.

We looked around London for a long time as to where we could best stay overnight. Our choice fell on the St James. The hotel is very well located. Absolutely great and personal service and the drinks at the bar were very, very tasty. Next time we will try the restaurant and we are definitely looking forward to coming back. For us, definitely one of the best hotels in London.

This hotel is very old and tired. We went in for one hour. After entering the extremely small room, we noticed a mold smell. We checked out immediately. I would skip this one if I we’re you! They still charged me for the room that we didn’t use. Class less establishment

I’m afraid St. James’s time has come and gone. This historical location, apparently one of the most sought-after places to stay in London, feels as though it’s resting on its laurels. The rooms simply can’t compete with what is offered in other hotels. They’re expensive, cramped and offer little to no view on the street the hotel is situated on. It simply isn’t worth the exorbitant fee. There isn’t even a gym on site. I appreciate how helpful and approachable the staff were, but ultimately they aren’t enough to elevate the experience St. James’s claims to offer. I’d suggest making a reservation at their restaurant if you’re looking for a fancy night out, but finding a different place to turn in. I’m sure at one point St. James’s was a reflection of the city it’s been in for some time, offering above and beyond what visitors expected, but London and its clientele have evolved - and St. James’s hasn’t.
