We LOVE this hotel!! We have stayed here three different times in the last two years. It has the best location. Walking distance to the theatres, train and subway just down the street, bus stops out front, amazing restaurants all around, close to all the major attractions. The staff are wonderful, the rooms are small but comfortable, the breakfasts are fantastic. I highly recommend. Two happy west coast Canadians!

Great location with proximity to the tube, buses and within walking distance to dining, shopping, theaters and historical locations. Staff was kind, courteous and helpful. Rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was hearty to start the day (including specialty coffees and teas). Also, impressed with the sustainability offering guests refillable water bottles and fill stations. Amazing value. Will definitely stay here again!

Stayed here for one night in a "cosy" single room. The room was small but perfectly formed and very comfortable just knocking off a star because the bathroom had no door! Obviously a space saving measure and not a real issue for a single occupancy room! The hotel is great, staff lovely and friendly. I had a fantastic cocktail in the Gin palace. The location is incredible would definitely stay there again if I can afford it!

Fantastic location, but quite a big hotel. Had a cosy double room, which was fine. It didn't particularly stand out in terms of finish, but perfectly comfortable and quiet.
My only complaint was the bathroom. The fixtures are all quite low, but then the shower has a low ceiling and about a foot off the floor. I'm 6ft and my head was practically touching the ceiling. The pressure of the water though was ridiculously good

** Good Things - The location of the hotel was excellent as it was situated in central London and was in close proximity to main attractions such as the London Eye and Big Ben. The Christmas lights on Regent Street and other areas were also within walking distance. Additionally, the hotel provided a welcome chocolate in the room and a cookie every day.
** Bad Things - The room was extremely narrow and congested, with insufficient space for more than a single bed. A tiny coffee table was the only furniture besides the bed, and pulling out the seating tool would block access to the cupboard. The bathroom was unsafe, with a narrow shower cubicle measuring 100x46 cm and about 37 cm in height from the floor. A protruding steel channel of 7 cm was a serious tripping hazard, and the room's low ceiling meant that extending one's arms to wear a coat, for instance, was impossible without touching the ceiling. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable, and if one turned over while sleeping, they might end up on the floor due to the tiny size of the bed. In fact, it was just a children's day bed room, and it is questionable why it was marketed as a Palace hotel room with premium rates. The reception staff was unwelcoming and unprofessional, which was a stark contrast to the other three hotels where I stayed during my UK trip. A flyer in the room advertised a £7 discount at the gin restaurant if we chose not to have our room cleaned, but the web link for booking this service redirected to a message stating that the hotel booking must have been made through their direct website and that the option should have been selected during booking. This was a misleading attempt at appearing environmentally conscious. *forget to mention the heating - room was not thermal insulated as the cold wind penetrates through the gaps in windows and heater doesnt felt working well. Overall, other than the location convenience, this hotel is not worth a single penny spent
