We recently stayed at Anatara Convento di Amalfi for our honeymoon. We were there for nine nights, and I can honestly say, it was the best hotel experience we've ever had. From the very beginning, the friendliness, generosity and professionalism of the staff, was exceptional. The hotel itself is simply beautiful, set on the side of a mountain overlooking the Amalfi coast. The views are quite breathtaking, and are available from seemingly every room. The breakfast/dining terrace shares this view, and is an amazing place to eat, or just sit and take in the surroundings. The room was of exceptional quality, with a wonderful shower and luxury brand bathroom products. We ate in the main dining restaurant, and the pizzeria; both of which were superb, and whose staff were again welcoming, friendly, and highly professional. Breakfast was an amazing experience, with a wide variety of choice from the buffet, and delicious cooked options; all consumed whilst looking out over the azure sea and sky. There is a great pool, also overlooking the coast, and brilliant spa, both of which we made use of. The spa had a wide range of treatment options, and delightful treatment rooms. All round, I can not speak highly enough of this hotel and its staff. It is truly exceptional.

This was one of the most beautiful hotels that my family and I have ever stayed in. It used to be a monastery so it had a very unique and wonderful feel to it. The gym outside was one of my favourite parts as well as the breakfast. The staff were phenomenal, they went above and beyond to meet any and all of our needs! Thank you for the great stay.

I never write reviews but this place deserves it. It was definitely the stand out when I was researching hotels in Amalfi. But then it was even better in person. 1. The staff was so so so sweet (we love you, Angelo). The best service we've ever encountered. This is so hard to do. 2. Location is perfect. It's a 5 minute walk to the main square and I liked that it was a little removed from the craziness/touristy vibe. 3. The food was the best we had in Italy. We went to a couple of spots in town but every meal we had at the hotel was better. 4. The whole hotel and rooms are so clean, fresh, cozy, well decorated. 5. Best view!

We held our wedding at Anantara Amalfi in July. Words can not explain how incredible our wedding was. Antonella is so beautiful and ensured everything went to plan. I can not fault the wedding/our stay at this venue. The entire property is beautiful and the views are breathtaking. The standard of service was out of this world. The staff were the biggest stand out for us, they are just incredible and can not do enough for you. Thank you so much for everything. We can not wait to revisit soon!

Absolutely wonderful. This is a truly an amazing place with lovely facilities. The history of the convent is something special to be aware of and touring the Cloister area in the hotel is a must. I could say more about the hotel itself but I wish to address the exceptional staff. We have encountered lovely staff throughout our travels but the staff here was beyond exceptional. Francesca at reception took care of many details for us including an excursion to Pompeii and Herculaneum. The servers at meals and cocktails were lovely. Nicola introduced us to a very nice local beer. However, the highlight was my birthday breakfast and dinner. Food excellent BTW. Marcello, Simona and Kristian made my birthday dinner extra special. Many thanks to all the hotel staff. We will return xx
