Very friendly service, even wrote out slips to transport my luggage to another hotel for me. The breakfast menu is delicious at such a reasonable price to boot. Do try to book your jacuzzi time daily, because others will and you miss the relaxation.

Our first night upon arrival in Tokyo and Andon Ryokan was just perfect; the family run business is super warm & courteous. Provided delicious food and their jacuzzi was icing on the cake. Would’ve stayed an additional night but they were fully booked :( Highly recommended

The rooms are very small, it felt like a one person bedroom with 2 futons cramped together. There was no space between me and my friend's bed. He was also sick so this was not healthy at all. Also no space to put your luggage. In the room. The stairs are very dangerous, and I almost fell and dropped my diner, then I wanted to eat my diner in the common room but was not allowed after 18:00 since it was a restaurant then. There are no other places to sit on a chair to eat. Or on the roof which has a very dangerous stair. The toilets and showers have a metal door which is really hard to open. So for older people not recommended. Mold in the very tiny bathroom, no space to change clothes. This does not feel like a ryokan, but more like a hostel with tatami floors in the tiny bedroom. The jacuzzi was nice. The owner was friendly in the beginning, but after I made some complaints the atmosphere changed. Now looking at other bad reviews I see very rude answers from the owners. Making excuses is not a nice way to answer on these reviews. I hope I help some travelers with this honest review.

I really recommend that place for your trip in Tokyo. Everything was super Clean and cosy. The space in the room was just enough to sleep and put our luggages. It was very calm and not too Close from a busy road. Subway and JR Stations was also super Close by feet. We could enjoy a jacuzzi, a roof top and a Laundry space, the breakfast was amazing (Continental or Japanese) and it was also possible to eat dinner if you want. I will for sure Come back for my next trip to Tokyo!

We spent our last night in Tokyo here. And what a gem Andon Ryokan is. Firstly after finding this place which was easy to find. The nearest station is Minowa st and is 5 minute walk to the Ryokan from there. When we arrived at Andon we was met by a pleasant and welcoming women with a warm atmosphere. We was a little early for check in so we left our bags and headed out for our last day in toyko. When we arrived back at Andon we was pleasantly surprised our bags where taken to our room for us. The room is small but comforting and very clean with TV, fresh bedding and a welcome guide. Our night sleep was wonderful with the futon being think and soft and the pillows were dreamy. We also got breakfast which I fully recommend. See photos. And coffee was rich Italian bean coffee what more could you ask for to start your day. I fully recommend Andon Ryokan to anyone staying in Tokyo.
