The hotel is right beside the Itabashi Station, which makes it rather easy to get around both the Tokyo/Saitama area. In the area surrounding the hotel there is a quite a few restaurants and combinis. As for the rooms they are pretty typical for an APA Hotel - while the space is a bit limited, the rooms are fully featured with both a large comfortable bed and TV.

It's a bit far from Tokyo but the good thing is that the Itabashi Station (JR) is right behind the hotel and no, it's not noisy. There is a supermarket nearby and other convenience stores. If you have a JR Pass you can be in Shinjuku, Shibuya o Tokyo within very few minutes. The staff is very friendly and helpful, wifi is pretty good, for me the only issue was the aircon temp was around 26 (feeling) since this is centralized you can't adjust it. Aside from that everything was fine.

Very bad management. I would suggest APA to review their relationship management with their customers. Especially when you spent several days in their hotel. Reply to their reply: Till APA hotel decide to become more customer oriented and have some empathy related to the customer situation, the improvement will not happen.

My experience at APA hotel was actually really wonderful. My best friend and his friend (and her daughter) and myself stayed at this hotel for about 6 days. The train station is in close proximity to the hotel and is literally within walking distance. There’s a local McDonald’s in case you’re homesick for some modified American fare. You’ll receive a voucher for breakfast which is served here daily. It’s not customary to tip in Japan so it’s not necessary to feel inclined to do so. Have an awesome stay and travel light!

This hotel is roughly a 5 minute walk from the train station. You can literally see the hotel from certain platforms in the station. From my room, if the window opened, I could just jump out, run across 2 tracks and climb a platform and be at the station. Given the proximity you are likely wondering if you can hear the sounds of the station. The answer, for the most part, is no. I have heard one horn but it was not enough to not hear the TV and would not have woken me if I were asleep. The breakfast buffet, optional add on to your stay, is a Japanese take on the Western buffet with Japanese dishes along side more traditionally Western dishes. Refreshing to have rice with breakfast. The sticking point for some will be room size. The room is, as is the norm for Tokyo, tiny. I have a suitcase that is enormous given I have 2 weeks of travel and wanted space for souvenirs, etc. I hate it but the only way to open it is to put it on the bed. I pulled all my clothes for the next three days to avoid needing to get into it until I pack. For larger sized guests or for more than one guest you will have some creative climbing and arrangements to make. Be aware they are very strict about 3 PM check in. This generally isn't an issue as they have bad storage services for free, but if you're going to get into the room really, this is likely not the hotel for you. The bathroom in my room was ok, but again, tiny. The shower, however, hits well above it's weight class. The issue from the shower, at moderate spigot settings, was overpowering. I think you could blast concrete with this thing. And be sure to keep everything that could be ruined by water out of the bathroom. I'm not kidding, the first time I used the shower I thought I was washing the far side of the bathroom. The curtain doesn't stand a chance at holding the water back at moderate level. Overall not a bad place to stay for the price as long as you don't mind the room size.
