Liked · Great location for the U bahn (can see entrance from room) and tram service. A huge choice of restaurants within walking distance. Staff very helpful and room service was excellent at keeping the apartment clean and refreshing the towels.

Ah, Rosenthaler Residence, the place where sanity goes to die. Let me regale you with the absurdity I encountered during my recent visit. Brace yourselves, for this tale is a rollercoaster of disbelief! Picture this: I walk into Rosenthaler Residence, and instead of a warm welcome, they demand a €500 deposit upfront, as if I was auditioning for a role in a surreal financial theater production. Who knew a hotel stay at Rosenthaler Residence required a down payment worthy of a royal palace? Perhaps I missed the memo. But wait, it gets better. After my ordeal, they took it upon themselves to become the arbiters of my moral standing, deciding whether I was a "good boy" worthy of my own money. The theatricality of it all left me wondering if I had stumbled into a bizarre comedy show. And now, for the pièce de résistance, the hotel's nightly symphony – the incessant tram cacophony that serenades guests throughout the night. It's as if they've hired trams as their resident musicians, ensuring that slumber becomes a distant memory. In conclusion, Rosenthaler Residence is a masterclass in the art of absurdity. If you're searching for an experience that defies reason and common sense, look no further. Their extravagant deposits, moral evaluations, and tram-driven symphonies will surely leave you in stitches – or in need of a vacation from your vacation.

We booked for 4 people and the unit was barely large enough to hold 2 Queen sized beds in a column with a little bit of room leftover and the beds to navigate the kitchenette and the tiny, practically unusable dining table around the room. Not too tight, no complaints. The one bathroom in the unit was clean and spacious. Location in very nice and makes it super easy to navigate the city. The unit we got, however, is right above the noisy/lively street which has constant buzz from youngsters, trams and traffic. When temperatures cross 75F/24C the room gets hot enough that you will need to open the windows and run the two fans they give you, pretty much 24x7. The nose makes it impossible to keep the windows open so speeding through the night gets a little challenging as there is no air conditioning.
