The premium rooms are huge. There is no air conditioning. Normally this would not be a problem; however, there can now be periods of intense heat.

Great, generous sized one bedroom apartment with plenty of storage and a fully equipped kitchen in a great location, right around the corner from Gendarmenmarkt, U-Bahn station Mitte (U2 & U6), oodles of excellent restaurants, several grocery stores, Galeries Lafayette, chocolatiers (Rausch & Neuhaus) and everything else one's materialistic little heart desires. Within walking distance of the Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag in one direction as well as the Museumsinsel, the Berliner Dom, Nikolaiviertel and the TV tower, as well as plenty of other sights to see if the feet are willing. If not, hop on the 100 Bus and give your feet a rest. A couple of minor issues were a very small TV, and the couch, which doubles as a pull out bed and was not really comfortable due to the gap between the seatback and the cushions. Overall, the living room furniture could use a little update. Cute touch was the chocolate Nikolaus for Nikolaustag that I found in front of my door. Will definitely return.
