Horrible experience (business trip). 1. Rooms are not as depicted in the photos, are way more decadent (3 stars would be honest) 2. Receptionist doesn't spesk english. Hello? 4-stars hotel? 3. The day after I checked in, at night I casually run into the receptionist, who in a rude manner asks me repeatedly "will you pay?". The whole reservation was arranged booked and paid by the travel agency, who provided the credit card details to charge the money. After 2 hours calling the agency and someone else from the hotel who could speak english I could solve the issue.

The location was really comfortable for taking the bus or the subway. The room was really spacious. As it concerns the service, most of the time there was no one in the reception and we had to call into a specific number for service. I would prefer it if there would be someone on reception.

we called urgently at the last minute at 1 AM and Miranda was able to help us and find us a room. Room 601 has a great view on Lycabettus Theatre at night

The hotel isn't matching the expectations for what a 4 star hotel should be. The building is like screaming 'welcome to the 70s', the furniture in the rooms is outdated, the balconies are big but the view consists of the TV antennas of the opposite buildings, the reception is closed between 11 to 8, but having said that, the hotel is actually a good deal. Let's see... The location is very central and easily reached via the subway. The price is unbeatable for the area, especially for families with children. Surprisingly, while the rooms display this mismatched furniture and totally lack of decoration, they do have a kitchenette and a jacuzzi!!!!!!! Only if you experience the summer in the 40C Athens, you can appreciate what a bonus the jacuzzi really is!
