The photos posted are very deceiving. When we initially arrived to our surprise the room was much smaller than we were expecting. The hotel room itself felt like a tiny prison, not to mention the odd times at night where the water or power would go out due to “maintenance”. There is no elevator whatsoever and it felt claustrophobic regardless of where you were in the hotel. The walls are so thin to the point where you’d hear everything within the hotel and outside of the proximity of the hotel. The owner was nice but I do believe there’s long overdue repairs that need to be made as well as some issues that need to be addressed to customers before booking. If you are travelling alone, I would not recommend as it feels rather unsafe and eerie. I really do not believe this is a 4 star hotel as the 4 star hotels I’ve stayed in previously do not look like this whatsoever. I will admit the area which the hotel is situated in is quite convenient to reach tourists spots within walking distance, but there were better hotels within the vicinity of the area as well.

I paid approx $35 a night, which for this area is low. However,.the listing did say it has air conditioning, but when I couldn't find the remote, I was told that it was broken. They then suggested I turn the heating off... It was 19c outside, why is the heating on? Anyway. I turned it off, but still the room was too hot for me. On checking out, I was told that they don't have Aircon at this time of year, and they use heating. Ok, but don't put air con on the listing. Otherwise, the room was fine. Basic, but fine. Bed was comfortable. Shower was good. Noise was ok. I would stay again, but I think they should probably teach their russian staff better English and also be clear about the facilities.

We highly recommend this hotel. Staff provided excellent customer service and went beyond and above to make sure we have a great stay and we are safe in Istanbul. It's definitely a great value for your money, and we highly appreciate it. We found the room spacious and well lighted because of the big windows. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Istanbul.

I rented an economy class room for three nights cheaply. The room had a small a refrigerator, a wardrobe, a table, a chair, an air conditioning, a bed, a wi-fi and a hair dryer. Everything was fine in the room. there were no problems with warm water or heating. I have recommended this hotel to my friends, they enjoyed it too. Pluses: 1. Excellent location. 2. Nice rooms for small prices. 3. View from the window to the sea. 4. It is quieter at night compared to other quarters of the city. 5. The staff is very polite. Also he helped me leave my luggage(which was very heavy) in the hotel. Check-in to the room started at 2 pm. I got off at the airport at 7 am. With my luggage, I couldn’t go anywhere or take a walk. I decided to take a taxi to the hotel and ask the staff to leave my luggage at the hotel until 2 pm and before that I’ll walk around Istanbul, he answered me “Yes, of course, no problem!”. I was very happy at that moment. Cons: it would be very cool if the staff would improve his level of English at least to elementary. Because tourists mostly speak English.
