Rooms are a bit dated, ac system was confusing to navigate but that's okay. Service was great for the maid to replace sheets and provide us extra pajamas for us. The laundry service addon was helpful in a pinch for my fiancee. The hotel is at a great location and on a main street and right near the temples and shrines and about a 5 min walk across the street from the train station. Would recommend! If you're a foreigner don't worry, the reception has like some kind of google translate device they talk into and it speaks back into English to the viewer and vice versa so it's easier to communicate specific questions to them.

The room is very old and the lighting is very dim There are no sockets next to the bed, the only socket is next to the table and only one plug can be plugged in at a time There was still dirt in the hair dryer, which scared me to death. The room also had an unpleasant smell, which really made me have a bad impression of Japan.

I stayed at ANNEX BUILDING So it is different building from main lobby. It places behind the main building. The room kinda old and smell weird but acceptable. The room size is big (I stayed at double room) One bed for two people. Don’t ever try to book this room if you stay with child, it must be very cramp. The amenities complete, you can get toothbrush etc from main lobby. And there is coffee stand also at main lobby. The worst thing for me is the key. They just give me 1 key for my room even I stayed with another person. So it’s kinda difficult when we not together. One of us cannot enter the building if we not bring the key. And they still use old ver of key not card key. No breakfast option, but there is familymart very nearby. And the best part is the location. Near by asakusa station, nearby asakusa tourist attraction. Many options of restaurant.

Hotel is clean but little outdated but that's okay because it's not like you come on holiday just to stay in the hotel! It's a 5 minute walk to the train station and about the same to senso-ji temple. Be prepared to get Google translator out for communication as not all staff speak English but will try there best to help you. There is a luggage transport service at the hotel as long as you send it off in the morning if you wish for it to arrive at your next destination the next day otherwise you'll be asked to go to yamato transport to send it off but they can't guarantee it will arrive the next day. I also did laundry at this hotel, at about 6000-7000 yen for 14 variety garments, they did a great job on my garments that had leakage from my 'time off the month' accidents, however it is about pricey for me personally. Not too shabby for a hotel in asakusa.
