Rooms are cramped. Room temperature is way too warm for a comfortable nights sleep and the air-conditioning was largely ineffective. Even in winter. Hotel concierge where very helpful. Breakfast was adequate with a range of options. Views of the Acropolis are amazing from the rooms and rooftop!

Great location, large rooms and hallways, especially for a European hotel. Very nice and fancy. The rooftop has a wonderful view of the Acropolis. Only stayed one night, but would recommend to anyone for a longer stay. Our bed was huge!

Very clean and conveniently located hotel. Comfortable bed. All staff members are welcoming and professional. Breakfast has a nice view and the food was decent but not great. Biggest disappointment for me is having paid for a room with a balcony. And I have no balcony. Can't even open the windows.

We booked the Astor Acropolis Frame Room and the view we got did not disappoint! We could see the Acropolis from our window, and it was breathtaking! However, the photos we were shown prior to booking were a little deceiving. This room was shown to have a balcony, but we did not get one. It appears that the rooms at each end were the only ones to not have one, but I guess you were paying the same price as the ones that did. For over $300 a night, we were quite disappointed that we didn’t get a room with the balcony. With such a steep price and because the photos with this room showed a balcony, we felt a little ripped off. But again, the view was spectacular! I don’t think we’d be back for the same room unless it were offered a cheaper price. Again, we felt a little deceived.

Sometimes we have pleasant surprises and this hotel was one of these times! We weren’t expecting much but this hotel exceeded our expectations. The location is simply perfect and the hotel is very well kept, rooms super clean everyday and the staff is probably the warmest people we’ve encountered in Athens. Also the rooftop is breathtaking. Will comeback everytime I am in the city.
