Very comfortable, clean and cozy. The staff was great and super helpful. The views were fantastic and the resurant on the top was a great place for breakfast and to get a drink in the afternoon (sadly we did not eat dinner there but I heard goof things from other guests). This place was within walking distance to everything.

Our ferry to Crete was cancelled due to bad weather and we had to find somewhere to stay overnight. We were so lucky to choose Athens Gate. The staff were supremely helpful in every way, we were able to park our car in their secure garage overnight and even let us leave it there after we had checked out so we could explore Athens before our ferry left at 9pm. The room was a good size, very smart and clean. On booking we did not appreciate the location of the hotel until we went to the roof terrace for breakfast. Unrestricted view of the Acropolis along with one of the best buffet breakfasts I have experienced.

On a trip with some friends we found this hotel to be a very good place to stay. The views from all around the hotel help make the stay more enjoyable. The rooftop bar / restaurant is good but more importantly has amazing views of the acropolis. Well worth choosing this place of you come as a tourist. Lifts are basic (2 people) but they work. Good location and we would stay again. Helpful staff

Rooms were clean and tidy. Breakfast was up on the roof garden, beautiful views and plenty of seats when it's dry so you can go outside. Not a large area to get your breakfast and the toaster takes ages. Staff pleasant and helpful. Staff on the door very helpful. Two lifts but only carry 3 people max each and they are slow. The stairs spiral down. There was only a handrail from reception to the next floor, non after that that we could see.

What an amazing independent hotel! The staff are incredible and made us feel so welcome. We travel with our dog and this hotel isn't just dog friendly, they are dog lovers! The rooms are small but very clean and modern. The location is unbeatable and the breakfast on the roof overlooking the Acropolis is indescribable. Thank you to everyone at Athens Gate for making our stay unforgettable!
