Very nice stay at a big classy hotel in Athens. We've stayed in club lounge rooms, the newly renovated lounge with view of the Acropolis is excellent. All the staff on site is very helpful and attentive. I had some minor issues with prepayment, but after some time they got finally corrected.

Lovely hotel made for large conferences. Lots of space and services Inc spa. Easy walk to metro to go into central Athens. Staff friendly throughout my stay, making it a wonderful visit to Athens.

I stayed here for 2 days and overall found the stay good. I did had a problem where the bathtub and sink were clogged, which was corrected to an acceptable level. However, didn't expect this to be even an issue when you pay such high amounts for a day. Breakfast here had variety and was one of the best I had at a hotel. One of my friend stayed at the wheelchair accessible room, which was very big and can be useful for people with disability. They have a pool, a massage clinic, and gym.

Nice hotel, and superb location in city center. Hotel is in need of major upgrades and renovations. Carpets in rooms should be replaced, bathrooms need revamping, perhaps do away with the tubs and just have walk in showers....nice sitting sofa areas in the room. If staying a couple of days, it is fine. Like and follow for more amazing places to see and visit around the World.

Fabulous, Central Location | Comfortable, Functional Rooms | Highly Recommended —— Detailed Review Below —— A centrally located upscale hotel within the IHG family of hotels (Intercontinental, Regent, Vignette, etc). Internationally, the Intercontinental brand signals luxury and sophistication. The Athaneum Intercontinental Athens stays true to its brand and delivers well on its promise. I have stayed at this hotel a few times now. The hotel is centrally located making accessibility to the must-see sites, sights, and sounds of Athens that much easier. The central location also means that quick tours of the city are possible (and highly recommended). The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well put together with care. The service is immaculate.
