Room 204 with view to the street Unfortunately the traffic is always very noisy. Also in the night. The walls are very thin so that you can hear people speaking and water showers or similar. The room was very clean but small. The balcony was nice. Breakfast was small but good. Die Metro is 10 minutes away and you are quickly in the city.

This hotel`Athinais` was a very high standart before 2015, superb service, room and breakfast. However, today, on 06/11/2023, we have a bad experience in this hotel. Firstly, in the room we found drain flies in the shower, we took a picture and shown to the reception. They said:` Why you did not tell us in the night time but in the morning?` Secondly, I woke up scratching my arms and legs because there were mosquitoes in the room. They provide me a gel medicine in the morning. they did not apologised. Thirdly, we found a piece of plastic under the bed sheet which scratched my body. I took a picture and shown them. They did not apologised. Fourthly, they forced us to pay when we arrived in the hotel, not the next day in the morning. It was weird. They knew, their service was not for 83.50 euro per night for this terrible room. We agreed to pay before in the reception because it was 8 p.m and no choice. They refused to call their manager and to speak to her/him. Finally, we will post in every social media our terrible experience in`Athinais ` hotel and let the staff and director to understand : `Do not sell your cheap pruduct for 83.50 euro/night.`

I must say that it was an utterly disappointing and terrible experience from start to finish. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy, let alone anyone seeking a pleasant stay. First and foremost, the customer service was abysmal. The staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful, displaying a complete lack of professionalism. From check-in, I encountered rude and indifferent employees who made me feel like an inconvenience rather than a valued guest. It was clear that the hotel lacked proper training and supervision of its staff.
